Chapter 134 Hard Time
Urgen didn\'t die even when Aion heard some cracks coming from his skull when he collided against the wall. Still, the impact raised a dust curtain around, and Aion had his chance. Aion changed his class to Necromancer and then pierced the enemy\'s heart with an Ice Spear. Before the dust curtain could disappear, he turned him into a death knight and then made a part of the wall fall there… to make people think that Urgen was buried there.
Just to be sure that no one would find anything suspicious, Aion also created a huge block of earth and made it sink deep into the ground. Now, people will have a hard time trying to look for the body of the enemy.

Aion didn\'t know if someone saw him transforming his weapon. Still, it didn\'t matter anymore. He didn\'t need to hide that weapon, only a few skills to surprise the enemies whenever he needed it.
In any case, Aion healed himself a bit, and then he heard the sound of something cracking. The gate that had been frozen finally fell apart. Soon after, the sound of something falling apart happened in the opposite direction. It seemed that the mage squad had finally finished their task.
"A lot of enemies are crossing the gate, and Jagger is… Still fighting the enemy," Aion thought.
In the darkness of the night, Aion couldn\'t tell how the flow of battle was. In any case, he transformed his weapon into the hammer again and slowly retreated. Numerous soldiers began to charge toward the battlefield, but then they found Aion on their path. Despite that, they charged like mad dogs…
"I should have taken that guy\'s sword… ``It is a bit too big for me right now, but it would be very effective to stop several enemies at the same time," Aion thought.
When the first few enemies got close enough, Aion stepped in and then swung his hammer. The first target raised his sword, but the weapon broke, and then his chest was smashed, and his body was pushed backward for several meters, making it collide against some soldiers.

It was surprising that Aion managed to kill the target with that attack, he was wearing thick armor, and he didn\'t use any other buff, after all. In any case, that only delayed the enemies for a few seconds. They approached Aion with spears and tried to stab him. However, Aion hit the ground with his hammer and then raised a dust curtain. The spears only hit the air, and in the next moment, they felt something landing on the top of them and then Aion approached and swung his hammer around in an arc, smashing the heads of several enemies.

"Ugh… I don\'t like this feeling," Aion thought.
Cutting and piercing the flesh of others wasn\'t exactly pleasant, but smashing flesh and bones was even worse. Regardless, Aion was forced to jump back when more spears approached his body. Soon after, some Fireballs landed on the enemies, and the explosions pushed others away.
"Do you need a hand?" Vanessa asked.
"We need to defeat the archer as soon as possible. How much progress Jagger made so far?" Aion asked.
"Well… that guy is pretty fast," Vanessa said. "Evasive maneuvers are also his specialty… I tried to hit him, but I failed."
"What about Jagger\'s condition?" Aion asked.
"He has been hit a few times, but nothing serious… he keeps chasing the enemy no matter what, so he didn\'t have the chance to fire really powerful arrows," Vanessa replied. "Still, despite that, whenever others get too close, he puts an arrow between their eyes."
It seemed that Jagger was having a hard time finishing the enemy off because of that. One archer could only run so much in a battlefield and surrounded by enemies. He probably was baiting Jagger to attack only to have an easier time killing him…
Regardless, Aion didn\'t have time for that. More enemies were approaching. He also could see in the corner of his vision the mages approaching, but it was hard to say how much mana they still had left… The archer had to die before his sisters entered the enemy\'s line of sight.
"Help the others and tell Jagger that he has five minutes to finish the enemy off. After that, I will do it for him," Aion declared.
Vanessa nodded. Usually, the sons of nobles would be arrogant pricks that don\'t follow the orders of those they deemed beneath them. Someone as strong as Aion was supposed to be even more reason to act like that, but he never let his accomplishments, conditions, and power get to his head. Still, he decided to follow the lead of someone who hated his lineage and someone who had tried to screw with him once… even if only for a short while. The reasons for Vanessa were unknown.
After a while, the enemies leaving the city realized that they wouldn\'t achieve anything if they tried to fight Aion, so most of them began to circle around while others tried to mess with him by using feints. Their goal was no longer to kill him but to prevent his interference on the rest of the battlefield…
When some enemies passed by him, the mages squad finally arrived and began to hit them with Fireballs. That worked well to prevent their advance, but then they became the targets instead.
While Fireballs were shot at their faces, the enemies blocked them with their weapons, and the closer they got, the more the mages began to miss… they were only kids without fighting Experience, after all… Aion had to do something about that…
