Chapter 436 Copies

Vangel\'s unwavering faith in his own path, no matter how twisted or misguided it may appear to others, was a testament to the depth of his conviction. Through the shattered fragments of time, Aion caught glimpses of Vangel\'s journey, his struggles, and his desperate search for a solution to the impending catastrophe that had befallen their world.

In those desolate futures, Vangel had witnessed the devastating consequences of inaction, the ravages of unchecked chaos and unchecked power. It was this harrowing perspective that had forged his unwavering determination to reshape the world according to his own vision, regardless of the sacrifices or the cost.

Aion realized that beneath the surface of Vangel\'s actions lay a fervent belief that his path was the only viable one, the only chance to salvage what remained of their shattered existence. Vangel\'s resolve had been honed by the crucible of time, and he had emerged with an unyielding conviction that his way, however extreme or radical, held the key to a future worth fighting for.

"I don\'t care," Aion declared. "Free my mother right now alongside Seris and Arlana. You don\'t want to see me more pissed than I already am. There is no point in hiding this, but just like you, I had some time to think of ways to deal with you. You definitely don\'t want to see me using them."

"For how long are you going to act like you have the upper hand? You can\'t do a single thing against me, so don\'t give me orders," Vangel said and then made numerous copies of himself stop moving and face Aion. "You are just a failure that lost your chance. Just accept your fate and become a stepping stone to a future where this world can survive."

"Your words are pretty empty, you were there as well, so you failed too," Aion said and then shrugged. "I just told you before, just don\'t blame me for the fate of this world. You guys are to be blamed for leaving all the weight on my shoulders. That was your decision as well; just accept your weakness and incompetence."

Vangel didn\'t reply to that; instead of it, his copies just pointed their hands at Aion, and they began to feel his veins vibrating… that wasn\'t a good sign.

As Aion confronted the overwhelming assault of Vangel\'s copies, he felt an intense agony coursing through his body. The copies had discovered a way to control his blood vessels, squeezing them tightly like constricting serpents. The pain was unbearable, threatening to plunge him into unconsciousness.

Aion\'s heart pounded in his chest, each beat echoing like a thunderous drum. His veins pulsed with an unnatural rhythm as if they were dancing to the enemy\'s dark melody. Dizziness enveloped him, blurring his vision and robbing him of his strength.

Struggling against the grip of the enemy\'s manipulation, Aion fought to maintain his consciousness. Waves of lightheadedness washed over him, threatening to pull him into the depths of oblivion. Yet, a flicker of defiance burned within him, refusing to be extinguished.

Aion used a mana shield to fight back agaisnt the mana that the enemy used, but he didn\'t notice any differences. Something was off… the enemy was supposed to be using mana, but… in the end, Aion thought fast and then created a gravitational field that made everything around him much heavier. Thanks to it, Aion saw something falling from the air and then hitting the ground beneath him. It was almost impossible to see it, but some particles in the air were surrounding him and being controlled by the enemy. Those particles apparently were connected through a thin line, and that made it easy for the enemies to enter and control his blood flow.

"Was that all?" Aion asked. "Where are they?"

"Your friends and allies are dying right now, and you are taking your time against me to save three useless women?" Vangel asked. "You sure have your priorities straight."

"You can talk about that when your only goal is to save your own skin since you are shit scared of facing the enemies beyond the confines of this world," Aion replied. "Everyone on my side is fighting for something aside from themselves, and we are willing to die for it; you are willing to die for nothing. You are worse than a worm. Worms had at least some courage to crawl and search for their food instead of hiding in the darkness and waiting for your chance to do things the way you wanted."

As Vangel\'s anger surged within the distorted dimension, the very fabric of the space trembled in response. His fury resonated like a thunderous storm, echoing through the warped corridors of the realm. The sheer force of his rage seemed to manifest in the form of relentless copies, propelled with astonishing speed toward Aion.

The copies materialized in a frenzy, their movements a blur of motion. Like shadowy specters, they darted through the rifts, appearing and disappearing with unnerving swiftness. Their attacks were relentless, coming from all directions at once as if time itself had fractured under Vangel\'s wrath.

Aion found himself surrounded by a maelstrom of adversaries, their forms blurring into a chaotic whirlwind. Each copy possessed the same malicious intent, their strikes honed with precision and speed. It was a symphony of aggression, a relentless onslaught that threatened to overwhelm Aion\'s defenses.

As the battle raged on, Aion teetered on exhaustion\'s edge. The sheer number of enemies, the relentless onslaught, and the mind-numbing speed at which they attacked threatened to overwhelm him. Time and again, he felt his consciousness waver, his strength falter, and the darkness of unconsciousness beckon.
