Chapter 45 - MEET ELLENA'S BOYFRIEND
As soon as Lucas got out of the car parked in the yard, he immediately rushed inside. He seemed to be carrying an empty lunch box, then put it on the dining table.
"Lucas, are you home yet?" Ellena who was busy cooking for dinner, also looked at Lucas, when she noticed the sound of tapping shoes echoing in the room. Her hands were still busy holding the spatula, stirring the food in the pan.
Ellena then turned down the stove fire. She turned her head towards Lucas. Their distance is not too close, because apart from being blocked by the mini bar, they are also blocked by the dining table. However, Ellena could still see Lucas\' face very clearly.
Ellena looked at Lucas with a smile on her face. However, Lucas still wore the same expression as this morning. In fact, her question was not answered at all by the man.
\'Is he still angry?\' she muttered to herself, then was stunned for a moment.
Without caring about Ellena, Lucas immediately moved from that place to his room. Let alone to say hello or answer Ellena\'s questions, even looking back he seemed reluctant.
"Maybe, he\'s still angry." Ellena frowned slightly. Seeing the change in Lucas\' attitude, made her slightly regret her actions last night.
Even though Lucas was always annoying by bothering her often, she still didn\'t feel happy when she saw Lucas\' cold attitude, as if she was just talking to a statue.
Don\'t want to comment too much. Ellena just shrugged her shoulders, then walked over to the dining table. She seemed to take and open the lunch box.
"Thankfully, it turns out that breakfast is finished. At least I didn\'t waste my time preparing breakfast for him." Ellena smirked happily when she realized the contents of the lunchbox that looked empty, without her knowing that it was Adley who ate Lucas\' lunch.
She also resumed cooking activities, even though she was actually still curious about Lucas\' cold attitude. It feels very uncomfortable if you don\'t greet people in the same house. However, what can she do. if Lucas wanted it that way, she couldn\'t force it and could only surrender.

At night. After Ellena tried to persuade Lucas, the man finally agreed to have dinner together. They seemed to be focused on dinner activities, so they didn\'t have a single topic to talk about in the midst of their activities.
Lucas was still cold and didn\'t want to start or even respond to a conversation. Meanwhile, Ellena becomes awkward to talk with Lucas.
Every now and then Ellena glanced at Lucas, hoping the man would do the same and talk to her. However, she suddenly pursed her lips, when she saw Lucas who was just silent and focused on eating the dinner menu. She took a deep breath, then settled into a sitting position and resumed her activities.
Like Ellena, Lucas also occasionally does the same thing. Instantly he frowned. There was something strange when he noticed Ellena who suddenly looked agitated and didn\'t stop moving, as if something was making her uncomfortable. He didn\'t want to care too much about not saying anything. However, seeing Ellena who was constantly moving as if looking for a comfortable sitting position, made him feel even more surprised and curious.
"What happened to you?" Lucas asked, finally starting the conversation. He seemed to stop his dinner activities for a moment as he looked at Ellena questioningly.
Lucas\' question instantly made Ellena gasped and stunned for a moment. She looked at Lucas with an even expression.
\'Ah, I\'m so uncomfortable, I think I\'m having my period,\' Ellena muttered to herself.
"Is there a problem with you?" Lucas asked again, before Ellena managed to respond.
Ellena then cleared her throat as if to neutralize her voice. "Hm... Lucas, can I go out for a bit after this?" she asked a little doubtfully.
"What for?" Lucas looked down again and continued eating, as if he didn\'t really care about Ellena\'s request.
"I\'m just going to the nearest convenience store, there\'s something I need to buy," said Ellena without letting go of the spoon in her hand. Her gaze was focused on Lucas, a sign that she was waiting for an answer.
"Lucas!" called Ellena when Lucas just stood there, not answering. It suddenly made Lucas turn his head back to her.
"Why?" Lucas asked flatly, then began to reclaim the spoonful of food on his plate.
"You didn\'t answer my question!" Feeling annoyed, Ellena immediately threw her protest.
"Continue to eat!"
Instead of answering Ellena\'s question, Lucas asked the woman to resume her eating activities. This suddenly made Ellena even more annoyed, because she thought Lucas didn\'t give her permission to leave the house.
Finally, Ellena resumed her activities, although with a feeling of annoyance. She seemed to be eating lazily, so it was the occasional spotlight for Lucas. However, this time Lucas didn\'t say anything else.
Dinner was over. Lucas rushed into the room. However, Ellena was still pacing incoherently in the living room. In fact, even sitting she felt reluctant because she felt uncomfortable.
She suddenly gasped when she heard Lucas\' bedroom door open. In a flash she turned his head over there. Lucas came out of her room.
"Lucas?" said Ellena who suddenly made Lucas look up, when the man had just closed the door to his room.
Without responding to Ellena, Lucas immediately grabbed the car keys stored on the white sideboard in front of his room. He then simply walked through Ellena. "Follow me!" he asked with a straight look ahead.
Ellena was stunned, but it didn\'t last long. She immediately followed Lucas out of the house.
Lucas had gotten into the car first. However, not with Ellena who looked confused and still hesitated to sit in the seat of Lucas\' car.
"How long are you going to stand there?" Lucas snapped, staring at Ellena\'s face with a frown.
"Hm... i-I—"
"Hurry up!" Lucas firmly cut off Ellena\'s words.
With no other choice, Ellena was forced to get up and sit in the front seat of the car, right beside Lucas. Standing too long and buying time, will make the discomfort even more unbearable. She hoped that Lucas would take her to the convenience store, so that she could get the things she really needed right now to deal with the sudden onset of her period.
Lucas immediately drove his car at a moderate speed. In just 10 minutes, he had arrived in front of a mini market not far from his house.
Ellena immediately got out of the car, after Lucas stopped the car there. Even with Lucas who also got out of the car.
"Elle?"
Ellena turned her head to the left, when she heard a baritone voice say her name. Likewise with Lucas who gasped when he heard the strange voice.
"Kee-Keenan?" Ellena was wide-eyed when she found Keenan—a boyfriend who had been looking for her for the past few days—was standing there, right beside the red car.
