Chapter 50: Eman In Danger?

Chapter 50: Eman In Danger?

As the sun slowly crept into my room, I found myself awaking the next day, feeling groggy and disoriented. I must have overslept the entire school day. With a sense of lethargy, I finally managed to pull myself out of bed and make my way to the kitchen.

In an attempt to shake off the haze of sleep, I decided to cook some scrambled eggs.

As I quietly enjoyed my meal at the table, my brother emerged from his room and spotted me eating.

"You didn\'t go to school today either, huh?" he asked, pouring himself a glass of water.

"Yeah," I replied softly.

"Tsk, you\'re becoming useless, bro," he said, visibly annoyed, going back to his room and slamming the door.

Letting out a sigh, I continued to enjoy my meal in peace. After finishing breakfast, I dutifully washed the dishes and made my way to the living room, where I idly flipped through channels on the TV, slowly becoming bored.

Looking for some company, I decided to call Darjan and see if he wanted to go outside. To my delight, he agreed, and I quickly dressed and headed out.

Darjan informed me that he was already outside with a few of his friends, gathering at a parking spot on the top floor of a store where cars were rarely parked. As I ascended in the lift, the doors opened, revealing Darjan and some unfamiliar faces.

Spotting me, Darjan greeted enthusiastically, "Yo, it\'s Bos-Dionis!"

Curious about my presence, one of the unfamiliar guys asked, "Who is he?"

One of my boys stepped in to introduce me, saying, "It\'s Dionis, dawg. He\'s a fucking G."

"Shit, alright," the stranger responded.

The group was engrossed in smoking weed and casual conversation, some crouching and others standing forming a small circle in the parking lot. I hesitated for a moment, as I still didn\'t enjoy the smell of weed, but In the end crouched entering the circle. I had grown accustomed to it due to my men\'s habits.

A guy nearby offered me a hit, but I declined, asking, "Where do you even get the weed, bro?"

He proudly replied, "Actually, I work for the mafia and sell stuff for them, but keep it a secret."

I couldn\'t help but criticize his pride in such activities, remarking, "And you\'re proud of that? You\'re proud to be a fucking failure?"

This hit a nerve, and he stood up aggressively, shouting, "What?! Fucker, you got a problem with me!"

Unfazed, I remained composed, looking up at him and saying calmly, "No, you\'re just full of emotion. Hahahah, Adem is smart for finding dumb retards like you."

"Bitch, who the fuck is Adem, and who the fuck do you think you\'re calling a dumb retard?" he retorted with aggression.

"He\'s your fucking boss-" I responded, standing up slowly and stood close to his face with an arrogant smile. "-and I\'m calling YOU a dumb retard,"

His anger flared, and he swung at me, but his attack was easily dodged. Thankfully, the others in the group quickly pulled him away from me, preventing any further conflict.

Darjan approached me, asking, "Boss, should we beat the living shit out of him."

"Nah, leave him be," I replied, not wanting any more trouble.

As the tension diffused, my men remained quiet, while the others who were not involved in the situation started questioning why the fight had erupted.

Annoyed by the inquiries, I told them to leave me alone, and they promptly moved on with their conversation. Amidst the laughter and camaraderie, I received an unexpected phone call.

Stepping away from the group, I answered Eman\'s call. His voice was frantic, and I could hear people shouting in the background.

"Dionis, fuck, fuck, fuck," he uttered, panic evident in his tone.

"The fucks going on?"

"The police... they\'re searching my fucking house! Do you think they found out!?" he whispered urgently.

"Wha-? You dumb fuck! Why are you calling me when the police are present!"

"I\'m in the bathroom right now. Don\'t worry, bro. Just what the fuck am I supposed to do?"

"Is there anything illegal in your house?" I asked.

"Yeah, a fucking gun," he stammered nervously.

"Shit. fuck, okay. Listen closely. Come out of the bathroom, and stay silent the entire time. Don\'t speak to your parents or the police, and no matter what they threaten you with, just stay quiet, okay?" I instructed urgently.

"O-Okay," he replied with dread.

"Then, when the police are distracted talking with your parents, go to your room, grab your gun, and jump out the window. Then run, and don\'t stop running!"

"What! Are you crazy, Dionis? That will only be more suspicious!" he exclaimed in a hushed tone.

"Fucker! You won\'t be a suspect anymore. If they find the gun, you\'ll be the criminal. Now, do what I told you, right now!!" I shouted, my voice reverbing throughout the parking lot.

"Fucking fuck, alright! This shit is making me age faster!"

Ending the call, I sat down on the parking floor, my mind racing with the weight of the situation. I gazed up at the roof, "Sigh, is this how it ends for me?" I asked myself calmly, slowly accepting it.

Darjan, who had been observing me, approached cautiously, sensing something was wrong. "Yo, is something wrong?"

I looked into Darjan\'s eyes, realization suddenly hitting me. "Darjan!" I called out urgently.

"Yea?" His expression showed surprise at my sudden outburst.

"Quickly go home!" I ordered, my voice urgent and serious.

"O-Ok, but why?" he asked, clearly confused.

"The police are on our ass! Go home, grab your gun, and run to Ipoz!" I shouted, feeling the urgency of the situation kick in as I stood up and ran to the elevator.

We both waited for the elevator together, trying not to draw attention. His friends were oblivious to our disappearing presence as they continued chatting.

While waiting, I called Eman telling him to run to Ipoz.

Once inside the elevator, we stood in silence, our nerves on edge, until we reached the ground floor.

As soon as the doors opened, we burst into a sprint, each going our separate ways. I ran uncontrollably up the hill to my block, arriving breathless. In a rush, I headed to the basement and grabbed the small suitcase filled with money and the contracts from the junkies.

With the heavy load, I rushed back up the hill until I reached Ipoz. My legs felt like they might give in, and my lungs were begging for mercy. Entering the building, I found Darjan and Eman anxiously waiting, nervously biting their nails, and looking visibly scared. The tension in the air was palpable.
