Chapter 156 12: Demon-Slayer [Part 1]
Meanwhile,
Inside the game, a group of 25 heavily armoured knights began their purge of yet another world boss. The woman stood in beautiful silver armour, with a white tree, with several foxes running around the trunk; this was the armour of Cynthia and her fellow demon foxes.
Because she took Zell\'s words literally, Cynthia contacted her tribe, asking for more warriors to bolster her guild now with a total of 50 demon foxes alone, while the total number of guild members was 250, a huge 1/5 of them were all Cynthia\'s tribesmen.
The sight of more than 20 fox girls in the heavy plates was awe-inspiring, and the players began to call them the "kitsune waifu" guild.
However, many players tried to talk with these NPCs, trying to engage in the romance events promised; all of the women were already married to the same male, causing many to try to improve their inspection as much as possible.
Sadly, any man that tried to inspect them without permission received bad karma, and the women all triggered the passive skill of Zell, allowing the NPCs to beat the players half to death without worry about their punishment.
"Hold, take the damn trashy goblins and rip them apart!" A fox woman with ginger hair and a slight scar across her cheek seemed to be from a claw; however, it amplified her beauty rather than ruining it.
She fiercely lunged her left arm forward, the heavy lance tearing through the air with slight resistance towards the goblin lord; its dark blue skin, fierce eyes and rippling muscles began to tighten as it tried to dodge the blow, leaning its body to the right, the blade slicing through its cheek as it pushed forward.
The goblin sneered as if thinking it won; however, the moment its eyes turned back to the woman, she slammed her massive shield into his body and face, causing a loud crack, pushing the goblin backwards, his feet quickly stepping before gaining his balance a moment later.
"Idiot!" The sexy woman\'s rough voice sounded before a volley of several arrows began to pour from the sky, tearing through the air as they began to rip the goblin\'s body apart with the sound of flesh tearing.
In desperation, the goblin lord tried to scream out as if to call the several dozen goblins in the small town to support him, yet nothing came to help him; as his eyes narrowed, stepping backwards, picking up a large stone pillar swaying on his legs with a slightly dazed movement.
His eyes widened in shock at the vision before him, the sight that would normally make his cock erect and fill him with a desire to violate and breed them, now causing him to experience the same fear a poor village girl would feel when captured by goblins.
5 were heavy lancers with massive shields, so large they were bigger than the women holding them, followed by 20 heavy knights, some holding swords, others using battle axes and spears; behind those were 25 in lighter armour, but with the same logo and various weapons, 10 with longbows, 5 with staves emitting a bright light, seeming to bolster the rest of the army and the find 10 were wearing a black robe, with the logo printed on the back, casting various magics in order, the fire then wind, to cause flaming storms, water after lightning to cause blanket area damage, but they had one thing in common.
They were all extremely attractive, sexy young demon foxes.
All members of the guild "Silver Valkyries" created by the NPC and princess of the Noire Clan of demon foxes.
Yet despite all the unlucky players, unable to enter the raid as Cynthia used information from Zell\'s past life and began to clear all the raids that NPCs could take part in, saving most of the riches and items gained as a gift for her husband and his new guild, thanks to her constant stories about him and the women who took part in the bloodpine forest raid, his stock with the Noire clan\'s females was close to a god-level idol.
With only a few days until the month\'s end, Cynthia began training her guild to fight against other powerful guilds and prepare for the upcoming war against the demons and likely other players.
As his close pet, she already knew the gods had abandoned him; thankfully, her tribe did not worship any gods from either side, only praising the mother of earth, who was a neutral deity.
As such, she found herself spending almost every day teaching her people how to use their skills and equipment properly, as well as learning how to deal with the monsters of the dungeon itself. She also spent hours making sure everyone understood what to do if a player or monster entered their base, which was why she insisted on keeping the place locked down tight, as no one wanted to see an angry mob of foxes rushing at them.
Her efforts paid off, as the Silver Valkyries became feared throughout the city and game forums due to their fearsome reputation and how sexy and attractive they were, but mostly for their ability to defeat nearly anything thrown at them, from player raids to world bosses.
If Zell knew about this, he might regret signing the marriage pact with Cynthia, not realising she signed a "clan" pact, not a personal pact with him.

In Asteria, Zell\'s body flew through the air, his body spinning rapidly, while his demon-slaying sword formed into the halberd form, charging through the air with extreme speed, his black armour filled with black flames tearing through the air, ignoring physics as his speed lunged out, his left hand shooting forward with a brutal force, the muscles in his arm bulging as they aimed to make light work of the demon guardian.
But it only hit the air.
Before the blade touched the creature, it simply vanished; no matter how fast Zell had been, there was just too far between them for his weapon to reach.
It appeared again, swinging its arms with ferocious strength, forcing Zell to lean back, dodging the attack, his body sliding along the ground as he did so, avoiding being impaled upon the sharp claws.
\'What the fuck!? How can it have high-speed teleportation at this low level and early on!!\' Zell began to panic in his mind, but his face and body almost began to shake with happiness and delight, feeling the joyful challenge of battle.
With an enraged shout, Zell charged forwards, the halberd forming once more as it swung upwards like a hammer, smashing into the beast\'s head; the impact caused the demon guardian to stumble back, leaving its body exposed for a moment.
Although his blow couldn\'t cause any relevant damage, he still lunged forward with his left arm, a flame spiralling from his elbow towards his fingertips, before bursting forward like a dragon\'s breath in a huge cone towards the creature.
This was the second tier spell Zell learned, the first being a short distance version, "Flambur"; it was a powerful fire blast that allowed him to use it at longer ranges.
As soon as the fireball reached the monster\'s body, the heat caused significant damage to the creature before it vanished; the flames continued forward and smashed into the ground with a loud boom causing the ground to shudder; silence filled the area as Zell began to swing his halberd in a circle, closing his eyes, relying only on his ears.
He heard something coming closer, yet it wasn\'t footsteps or anything of the sort. It felt like metal scraping against each other and soft and gentle as if someone was touching their fingers together.
Zell felt a strange sense of heightened emotions, unable to conceal his delight and joy from the fighting; although it felt like he was changing, there were signs in his past life that this was the true him, only hidden due to his weakness.
It wasn\'t only out of despair and losing Rika that at the end of his last life, he burned his very life essence to wound a demon; the pain he felt was almost enough to kill him from shock, yet a delight, even maniacal smile filled his face.
\'Where is this little sheep? Come out and play with your father!\'
