Chapter 19 Evaluation Day(II)

The Village Head seem to have recovered, he step outwards and shouted, "Welcome, Venerable Titan!"

In that instant, the entire thousand students bowed, with a clenched fist and echoed, "Welcome, Venerable Titan!"

Erian did not join them. He took in a deep breath and stared at the sky. In the glow of the sky, a single person stood in the sky as though there were hidden platforms below his feet.

He casually walked down from the sky with his hands in his pockets.

Bane Horton, who was essentially an envoy, stopped and looked down. He said indifferently, "Where is the girl I came here for?"

The village leader replied in a hurry, "The Talents of our school have gone to the periphery of the Forbidden Forest to hone their skills. I can assure you that they\'re coming back as quickly as possible."

Looking into the distance, the venerable muttered something to himself and then said expressionlessly, "My name is Bane Horton. I\'m here to look for the greatest Talents within this... place. But since I will be here for the next three days, all children between eight to sixteen shall have their Nuclear Pulse tested and evaluated."

Reaching down from the skies, he already reached the platform. The village head, vice-principal and the Head Master hurriedly went to welcome him, thanking him repeatedly for planning on taking his time here.

Everyone went crazy after hearing that. Randolph clapped excitedly muttered next to Erian. "Wow, the Titan is really here recruiting a disciple! It hasn\'t happened in a dozen years!"

Then, someone next to Erian said enviously, "Is this one of the legendary experts? He can walk on air. How strong…"

In the crowd, the eyes of several students glowed. It was a great opportunity for them. They were determined to reveal their best in order to catch Bane Horton\'s attention.

While Erian could advance rapidly with the assistance of his system, enrolling into a great university would make his journey more easier.

Randolph suddenly whispered next to Erian. "There\'s a rumor that the school might convince Bane Horton to coach the \'Important Class\' of students! Little Devil, hey, did you know that our school was a actually famous in the past but the Nuclear Pulse examination for the past few years were not too remarkable. There were not many students who were accepted to the \'Seven Grand Universities\'. As such, they specifically invited Venom Bane to come back to do some specialized training in hopes of reversing this decline in fortune of our Old Steel Village and once more give birth to glory!" Randolph Richwin\'s voice permeated, full of jealousy.

After all, only the "Important Class" of students were fortunate enough to enjoy being personally taught by Venom Bane, Bane Horton. There was no chance for them, the "Common Class" of destitute youths.

Erian heard the news and he inwardly sighed a breath as well, but wasn\'t particularly worried.

The "Seven Grand Universities" had the Government\'s most profound inner knowledge. They were abundant in resources, and these seven elite institutions had the greatest number of high-level experts. Out of the myriad of schools, this was the ultimate dream.

Ordinary universities did not necessarily place nurturing Titans as their primary objective. Even if a student had high natural talent, no matter how hard they tried, no matter what multitude of good fortune they encountered, the probability of becoming a Titan did not exceed one in ten-thousand.

However, the Seven Elite Universities had the backing of numerous great sects. They specialized in fostering Titan as their objective. As long as one gains acceptance to the Seven Grand Universities, one would have a thirty percent chance of becoming a Titan, stepping onto the apex of life!

Becoming a Titan requires that one must first awaken the nuclear pulse. And to awaken the nuclear pulse, one must have passed the Level-Nine, and first pass the university entrance exam for the Universities. Erian always regarded this as his objective to strive for, but from beginning to end, his innate talent was at a disadvantage, which he could advance, but he needed massive amounts of nuclear energy.

With these worries on his mind, Erian enthusiasm somewhat waned, even causing him to not hear what was being said on stage. The time of a Titan was valuable. Bane Horton did not speak for too long and Headmaster Lee Yun soon announced the end of the morning assembly.

Bane was escorted by the arrogant chosen youths of the Important Class and left. But the enthusiasm of the Ascending and Common class of students didn\'t disperse in the slightest. Instead, they couldn\'t contain their excitement. This was a lifetime opportunity for them. If they were lucky, they could also become an apprentice of a Titan!

They walked in twos and threes towards the school building.

And with that, today\'s evaluation has officially begun!

* * *

The teacher stood before everyone. "Listen up, everyone. The Nuclear pulse test is of paramount importance. Starting from today, those who have a Nuclear Pulse of Level Two, High Quality will be rewarded with a low-grade defective serum.

Those with Level Three, low grade, mid-grade and high grade will have a chance to study in the schools in the town; and if anyone has an above Level three, high grade, you will be taken to the city for further studies, making you the pride of our Old Steel Village!"

"Will the students, Quinn Borden, Talen Blade, Monroe Chuck, Layla Erin, and Alan Helsey please come to the front of the class to take your test?"

The five students nervously walked to the podium. There, a flat large tablet with a display screen on the surface was installed on a metallic box-shaped mechanism.

Teacher Grey glanced at the five students, also trying to look composed. This was second time he was seeing the Evaluation device. The first time was during his entrance examination to a university a few decades ago. This time he was the one testing his students with it.
