Chapter 163: Chapter 163 - The Titanium Controversy
Chapter 163: - The Titanium Controversy
"Princess Alora is definitely my dream. I would do anything for her-even if it means dying for her."
"It\'s incredible; she is so perfect. The visuals of this game are so stunningly beautiful that it\'s almost unbelievable to think it could create a character like this."
"I would give anything to touch her skin, or just to be her humble servant."
"She is stunningly beautiful, a blend of human and elf. In the Human Kingdom, she stands out as the Crown Princess. She is a true inspiration, known for her bravery and worth."
"I love her, I love her, I love her, I love her!!!"
"I want to buy more of her merchandise. I want to collect every piece of merchandise created for her. Please, Golden Age, release more merchandise about her! Take all of my money." "She is so perfect! I feel like coming to the competition just to see Princess Alora in person!" "I think Princess Alora is the most perfect character in Immortal Legacy."
On the screen, Morbit and Max could be seen walking among the contestants, clearly on the lookout for someone to interview.
"Do you know who\'s with us this time?" Max asked, her face radiating excitement.
"Of course, everyone should be aware," Morbit replied with a knowing smile.
At that moment, the renowned blacksmith known as Lanceshot appeared before them.
"Mr. Lanceshot!" Max exclaimed, eliciting loud cheers from both the Immortal Legacy players and those watching from the real world.
Max nodded enthusiastically, "As many of you know, he is the top-ranked blacksmith: Advanced Rank Level 9! He\'s been honing his blacksmithing skills since the game was launched to the public, and his accomplishments speak volumes. He is well-known and respected by many."
Morbit continued, "Given Mr. Lanceshot\'s great reputation, I\'m curious to hear his thoughts on this grand event and his hopes for the competition."
Lanceshot replied confidently, "This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase my blacksmithing skills to the world. Even though I\'m already well-known, I\'m determined to give it my all in this competition. I aim to ensure my work is of the highest possible quality so that no one else can compete with me. I\'m sure I\'ll win the grand prize!"
Applause and cheers erupted in response to Lanceshot\'s bold declaration, with several compliments and admiration pouring in from all around.
With a cheerful face, Max said, "Oh, you sure are very humble and confident, Mr. Lanceshot." As the applause began to fade, Morbit resumed, "Mr. Lanceshot, can you provide some insight to inspire other blacksmiths on how to reach a high level in the craft?"
"Absolutely," Lanceshot replied. "My secret is to never take the easy route when crafting a weapon. Using automated crafting features may get you the item quickly, but the quality will be inferior. A true blacksmith puts in the hard work, toiling diligently to create an item with high levels of tenacity and precision. This, along with natural talent, is what\'s required to reach a high level. Of course, not everyone is born with the same aptitude-that\'s why no one has surpassed me yet, hahaha."
The audience erupted in applause and praise for Lanceshot from all corners of the world, his confidence and expertise clearly resonating with them all.
Broken had been pondering what item he should craft for some time when he finally recalled a blueprint he had received from Fokil a while back when he had successfully crafted his first Glove.
[Royal Hammer Blueprint]
[Grade: Rare ~ Unique]n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om
[The perfect tool for any blacksmith looking to make a statement. With its luxurious golden handle and signature red velvet cushion, it\'s sure to bring a touch of royalty to the smithy. Plus, its titanium head is guaranteed to make your hammering work easier and more efficient! Start hammering like a king today!]
[To craft this item, you will need steel, a specific amount of titanium, a high-quality monster bone, and a high-quality monster hide.]
[Crafting this item requires the skill of an Advanced Blacksmith.]
"Royal Hammer?" Broken muttered under his breath. Nodding slowly, he added, "From the materials needed, it doesn\'t seem too difficult. The organizers have provided steel and titanium, and I have some bones and hides from the monsters I\'ve killed so far. Luckily, I didn\'t sell all the items I acquired from hunting."
He felt particularly interested in crafting this hammer because it would be essential for the next round. With such a tool, his chances of creating higher-grade equipment would greatly improve.
He joined the queue, weaving through the bustling crowd of aspiring craftsmen. As he got closer, he noticed a scowling figure standing guard at the counter-the blacksmith assigned to ensure that no one took more than their fair share of materials.
"I need steel and titanium," Broken said firmly.
The words had barely left his lips before shock registered on the blacksmith\'s face.
"What? Titanium? What kind of joke is this? You can\'t just ask for titanium in the first round! Do you really think you\'re worthy of such prestigious materials? I doubt it; even famous blacksmiths wouldn\'t dare."
The blacksmith then grudgingly threw three steel bars at Broken. "Take these and get out of here!"
"I heard all the items here are free for us to use, and I\'m not breaking any rules," Broken
stated.
"Move along! There are many others waiting in line! Get out!" the blacksmith barked.
A voice from the back of the line shouted, "Hey! Hurry up, you\'re holding up the queue!"
Another person chimed in, "Asshole! Get out of here quickly!"
"Your selfishness will ruin it for everyone in this line!"
"Don\'t waste our time."
An agitated individual ran up to Broken, pointing a finger at him. "Lose the attitude and move now, or I\'ll deal with you myself. We can\'t let one person disrupt the entire line. Do you
understand?"
However, Broken remained calm and unbothered by the complaints around him, his focus steady on the blacksmith guarding the counter. "I want the titanium," he stated. "I\'m not breaking any rules, and I have every right to use the material for my crafting."
The blacksmith\'s face twisted in frustration at Broken\'s stubbornness. "I suggest you leave before I lose my patience completely!" he growled. "I\'ll call the guards and have you disqualified from the competition. You\'re not even worth anyone\'s attention!"
Broken stood his ground. "All I\'m asking for is a few titanium bars-something that\'s available to me. Once I get them, I\'ll leave. Until then, I won\'t budge."
The crowd\'s anger was reaching a fever pitch, and people started shouting in frustration. The situation was quickly getting out of hand.
Suddenly, a powerful voice echoed through the chaos. "Asking for titanium in the first round isn\'t against the rules. Let him have the titanium bars!"
Everyone\'s heads whipped around toward the voice, and they immediately stiffened when
they saw who had spoken.
