Chapter 208: - Immortal Legacy Grand Competition

"Hi, My Lord Broken," she greeted him with a wave.

He slowly made his way toward her and settled beside her on the sofa. His body melted into the plush cushions, comfortably embracing its inviting warmth.

"You went on a date with Ivana, huh? What did you do with her?" Freya asked.

"Just testing the Wavebreaker Spear, and Gaia... And my knuckles too..." he said, looking exhausted as he spoke.

"Oh... really?" She giggled. "You were just testing, but you\'ve already caused a stir on the forums, huh..."

"What happened?" he asked, looking confused.

"Read it for yourself later. Someone recorded what you did, and some players even died from sudden monster horde attacks that appeared out of nowhere."

"Really?"

Leon was still a bit puzzled by Ivana\'s skill, which had a surprisingly large impact. "That\'s Ivana\'s skill, a taunt skill, she said. But with an impact that huge... I wonder how she got a skill like that. Is it part of her Unique-grade class?"

Freya just giggled again at Leon\'s words. "That\'s your wife, so you should know her better, right?"

They both fell silent, watching the television, though Leon was actually staring blankly, the exhaustion evident in his eyes.

"Go sleep, a real sleep," she insisted.

"I still have a lot to do," he replied wearily.

"How was your project?" she inquired. "The crafting."

"It\'s not too bad... I\'m sure if I pushed myself, I could complete it faster," he replied simply.

"Do you want me to tell you what\'s been going on in Slumdon Town and with the people there?" she questioned.

Leon perked up instantly. "Yeah, sure." He was eager to hear whatever news she had to share. "So," Freya began confidently, "the first update. I have news from RememberMe that he has agreed to sponsor your city development project and is awaiting your decision on when to initiate the investment."

"RememberMe? Why RememberMe?" Leon raised an eyebrow. "Was he the one who gave me the car, Freya?"

"Indeed he was," she replied. "He was quite passionate about this offer and stated he was more than content to be involved in your project."

"So... he really is that wealthy at such a young age?" he marveled.

Freya laughed at Leon\'s remark. "Yes, it\'s true that he inherited his wealth from his parents, but it\'s also true that he is quite skilled in business at such a young age. I believe you\'re really lucky to know him."

Leon smiled a bit awkwardly, as this fact wiped away the image he had of RememberMe acting recklessly without thinking but holding such a stellar reputation in real life. "Does he also laugh freely and talk without a filter in real life?"

"Yes... still the same. But business seems to flow in his veins, so he does it naturally," she explained.

"Okay, that\'s quite interesting. I want to meet him too," Leon mused. "He\'s already helped me so much, with the car and everything. So that\'s why they easily gave me an extra bonus on the car I picked; it\'s because of him."

"Yeah... he really trusts you. With his way of acting on instincts and thinking less, he chose the right person when he decided to trust you," Freya said.

Leon furrowed his brow. "Do business people really do that?"

Freya shrugged her shoulders. "Planning is essential, but guts are very important too."

Leon nodded slowly, taking her words to heart.

He continued, "What\'s the next update?"n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om

Freya went on, "Goldrich conducted a survey in Slumdon Town, and it appears the city is in a really dire situation. But he\'s also mapped out some information on what can be done to start rebuilding it."

Leon nodded. "That sounds interesting. What did Goldrich find?"

"He discovered that the people of Slumdon Town lack basic necessities like food, shelter, and healthcare," Freya explained. "He also identified ways to start rebuilding the city, such as providing access to clean water, better housing, and improved health services."

"Did he go to Slumdon alone?" Leon asked.

"No," Freya replied. "He went with Jovina, his team partner. They were waiting for you in Slumdon while they were hunting near the town. It seems they quite enjoyed hunting monsters there because there wasn\'t much competition from other players. Also, other members of the Ass Guild are planning to head to Slumdon in light of this news."

Leon nodded thoughtfully, absorbing the information. "And what about the Shadow Wolves, the Horde of Hell, and the Darkened Flame?" he asked. There were many updates he wanted to catch up on after spending so much time in the workshop working on the new set of armor.

"They\'re having a tough time," Freya replied. "Some members of the Ass Guild have confronted them multiple times in the hunting grounds, as well as when they tried to kill players or NPCs."

"Are the royals really just letting them get away with their actions?"

Freya nodded. "It seems so. Demian has been very crafty in assisting the guilds with their movements, and if his plan succeeds, he could potentially become the next King."

Leon was leaning back on the couch. "I guess those NPCs really are pretty good at using their petty ways and politics, aren\'t they?"

"Yeah," Freya replied, her face showing admiration. "They really are very intelligent, which is why we need someone like Maylock on our side."

Leon nodded slowly. "Correct, it\'s fortunate that The Ass Guild has someone like Maylock, who never seems to stop thinking."

Freya giggled and nudged Leon\'s shoulder. "He\'s the opposite of you, huh? Maylock never stops thinking, and you never stop working and hate thinking," she teased.

"You\'re really good at sweet-talking, aren\'t you, My Guardian?" he replied casually.

After chatting for a while, Leon stood up and stretched his muscles. "I\'m going jogging, Freya. Would you like to join me?"

Freya smiled and stood up, eager to accept his invitation. "Yeah, sure, let\'s go."

In the main office of the Golden Age Company, a spacious and luxurious room held an impressive meeting table crafted from dark wood. Luxurious chairs surrounded it. Marco was seated at the head of the table, clothed in a sharply tailored suit that highlighted his regal presence. All eyes were on him as he addressed the assembled group, watching and listening

with respect.

"So, I think this is the perfect moment to announce this," he began. "We have been planning this for a long time, but it seems that we will finally be able to realize it next year."

Once he saw that the room had absorbed his words, he continued.

"Today, I will be discussing the grand annual event that we are planning to host next year, in

2036. This is a momentous occasion that will bring together all the top players from the Immortal Legacy game from around the globe in one location to partake in a grand competition that will surely captivate the attention of many."
