Chapter 297: - Banished to the Mortal World
Lily nodded slowly. "The Sword of Dissidia, also known as the God Slayer sword, was once the legendary weapon of King Elandorr, the former King of Dissidia. Over generations, it has been passed down to each ruler of the Dissidia Kingdom and is now held by King Alorik, the current King."n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om
"So, does this sword have anything to do with the Goddess of the Moon?" Leon asked.
Lily nodded again. "Actually, the answers to all the riddles lie within. I have some theories and reasons behind what I\'m going to share. I\'ll explain them one by one," she continued, her voice growing more serious.
"First, the Blessing of the Sins was originally given to seven major races in Yunatea: Humans with Sloth, Elves with Pride, Dragons with Greed, Demons with Gluttony, Dwarves with Envy, Fairies with Lust, and Giants with Wrath. This Blessing caused a great war in the past, devastating many races and most of the plains of Yunatea."
She paused for a moment before continuing, "Secondly, King Elandorr received a mission from an unknown source to slay the Gods, claiming that the Gods had brought destruction upon the people of Yunatea. For some reason, I\'m convinced that this mission could be linked to the Blessing of the Sins bestowed by the god of the sins, and to the first point I mentioned."
Lily glanced at Leon and Freya\'s faces to gauge their reactions. Freya nodded, indicating her agreement. "Please continue, Lily. I want to hear more from you."
Lily nodded and continued, "Thirdly, of all the Deities in Yunatea, the Goddess of the Moon appears to be the only one who has never been explicitly named or acknowledged. Neither in stories about her as a deity in Heaven nor even just mentioning her name. It\'s almost as if she\'s lost her divine power or her position as a Goddess." She paused for a moment before adding, "It\'s strange that her name has never come up in history, right?"
Freya nodded. "Yes, I agree with you. Her story always ends with the label \'the Goddess of the Moon,\' but never with an actual name that people can easily recognize. In fact, she isn\'t as well-known by people as the other deities are."
Lily then continued, "And fourth," she began, "I read some interesting information on online forums posted by the Pride Champion about a certain deity that had been banished from heaven to Yunatea. The reason was because this deity was seen as a threat to the other gods. But it didn\'t specify who she was. For some reason, I suspect that the story is referring to the same figure, the Goddess of the Moon."
Leon nodded slowly, absorbing her explanation. "That\'s a really interesting observation, Lily," he said. "I had no idea you had learned this much about Yunatea."
Freya smiled at Lily and then asked, "So, what is the connection between the four points you made earlier, Lily?"
Lily smiled again before continuing, "It\'s just my wild theory, but I\'m sure the Sword of Dissidia was given by a Deity-rank creature. I\'m certain it wasn\'t the Gods of the Sins who gave the sword since they are the target of the God-slaying mission. For some reason, I think the Goddess of the Moon may be the reason why King Elandorr has the Sword of Dissidia." She paused for a moment, taking a deep breath to control her enthusiasm. "I know my theory is pretty wild," she continued, "but it makes sense. The Goddess of the Moon is often mentioned in South-continent tales and stories, and nearly 70% of those stories are set in the Dissidia Kingdom area. That\'s why I associated her with the Sword of Dissidia." She chuckled, ending her theory.
"So," Freya began, as she carefully assembled the pieces of the puzzle. "If I combine all the elements of your theory, the scenario that unfolded goes something like this:
"The Goddess of the Moon, for reasons still shrouded in mystery, was banished from Heaven, perhaps because the other gods found her too dangerous.
"Upon her descent to Yunatea, she bestowed a magnificent sword upon King Elandorr and tasked him with the monumental duty of slaying the gods.
"Following this event, it is believed that the Moon Goddess took residence in the South Continent, specifically in the region of the Dissidia Kingdom. There, she dedicated herself to aiding the inhabitants with their troubles."
Lily nodded. "Exactly, that\'s the scenario I\'m imagining. It\'s just a theory, but it could explain a lot of the mysteries we\'ve been trying to solve. However, I intend to look for more evidence, since there are still many mysteries left to uncover about this great enigma."
Initially, it was just Leon who was curious about the Goddess of the Moon. However, they all ended up listening to Lily\'s theory, which aligned perfectly with the facts and information she had gathered. He felt relieved knowing that his sister had delved into areas he hadn\'t had the time to explore.
"I guess I\'m pretty lucky you\'re this diligent, Lily," he said, laughing softly.
"She is quite impressive, isn\'t she?" Freya chimed in.
Leon then continued, "So, even though we can\'t confirm your theory yet, Lily, your explanations and information are quite convincing. But for some reason, I hope I\'ll get another chance to talk to the remnants of King Elandorr or even speak with the Goddess of the Moon herself. That way, I can validate your theory directly," he said with a grin.
"You sure are confident that you\'ll meet the Goddess of the Moon, huh, Leon?" Freya responded with a chuckle.
"Yeah, at least I\'ve already built some affinity with her. Who knows what the future holds?" he said, then took a deep breath. "After all, the quest to obtain the Sword of Dissidia is still in my system, and maybe by getting the sword, I\'ll get closer to uncovering the truth about all this," he concluded.
The three of them were gathered around the campfire, the smell of roasting meat blending with the freshness of the lake breeze. The stars twinkled in the night sky, providing a peaceful backdrop that was further enhanced by the soothing sound of water lapping against the
shoreline.
There was a sense of contentment as they chatted and enjoyed their meal, savoring every moment of their company and the tranquility of the lake.
Once it was late enough, Leon slowly rose to his feet and bid farewell. "Alright, there\'s something I need to do in Yunatea, so you two should rest soon. I\'ll be back tomorrow," he said with a broad grin. "Have fun!"

As soon as Broken stepped back into Slumdon, he found himself in his personal bedroom in the House of Slumdon. He walked out and descended the stairs into the main room, where he
saw Toberry.
Toberry, wearing his trademark white robes as an alchemist, noticed Broken and waved his hand with enthusiasm. "Broken, I have something that I believe you will find quite interesting," he said excitedly.
"I\'m always up for interesting things," Broken replied. "What is it?"
Toberry\'s excitement didn\'t wane. "Danko, the Beastkin Rat-Man Miner you recruited and paid handsomely, has stumbled upon something extraordinary in the depths of the cave. Would you like to join me and have a look?"
"Sure," Broken agreed without hesitation. "Let\'s go."
