Chapter 323: Chapter 323 - Bedrock Breaker Pickaxe
Chapter 323: - Bedrock Breaker Pickaxe
Broken never imagined he would need a pickaxe for combat, until the Self Transcendence Blessing unexpectedly granted him the Unique-grade class of Rift Digger.
He was still baffled by why he received a miner class. If the blessing had activated while he was working on the golem, wouldn\'t it have been cooler to have the class Golem Creator? He could have built an army of golems to protect the city.
But here he was, ready to perform the finishing touch on the pickaxe. From its appearance alone, it was already vastly different from any normal pickaxe used for mining. This one was crafted from expensive materials, including a Monster Soul Stone from a level 200 monster, Rare - Sand Colossus Lv. 215 Monster Soul Stone.
Who would think to use such luxurious materials to craft a pickaxe?
But his pickaxe class had proven to be incredibly effective, with the skill Puzzle Smacker being extraordinarily useful. It had solved numerous challenges for him, including helping him obtain a Legendary-grade egg from a Trial Domain and even saving Princess Alora. This class, as unexpected as it was, had turned out to be a game-changer in ways he couldn\'t have anticipated.
Everyone watched intently as he began the final touches. No one questioned the absurdity of anything he did anymore; everything around him seemed extraordinary. At this point, anomalies had become the norm when it came to Broken, the game breaker.
Broken held his breath as he approached the final steps of the crafting process. The tension in the room was so tense, with every eye fixed on him in eager anticipation of the last item he would unveil.
Even if the result was a Unique-grade pickaxe, it would still be remarkable. After all, pickaxes were meant for mining, not combat, right?
As he completed the final process, a flicker of aura began to emerge from the pickaxe. He felt a tremor of doubt, but then a yellow aura started to shine. No, it wasn\'t just yellow-it was gold. The radiant light from the pickaxe filled the room, and everyone stared in disbelief at what they were witnessing.
"Damn! No way!" Maylock exclaimed.
"Is this a blessing or a joke? Khi khi khi," Goldrich chuckled.
"That\'s Legendary-grade, right, Broken? Please confirm it," Elincia urged.
Broken still held his breath, stunned by the outcome. A Legendary-grade greatsword would be impressive enough, but a pickaxe?
What could he possibly achieve with a pickaxe of this caliber? He had requested this blueprint from Princess Alora on a whim, hoping to replace the pickaxe he got from Gia with something more durable. He had never expected this outcome. But here it was—a Legendary-grade pickaxe.

His hands trembled as he reached out to touch the pickaxe. It was rugged, with a dark metal head embedded with glowing, inscribed crystals. The handle was made of reinforced, weathered wood, wrapped in leather straps.
He took a deep breath and steadied himself. "It\'s Legendary-grade," he finally confirmed. Everyone in the room sighed in relief, mixed with disbelief and amazement at the outcome. "As I said, he truly is the Legendary Broken Player,," RememberMe remarked.
"Damn, I want a legendary weapon too, haha," Booba added.
"Phew, I was holding my breath through the whole process. It was so intense," Forev said.
"If this had been streamed live, I bet it would get tons of viewers and make a lot of money," PussyCat commented.
"Yes, Broken, you could just focus on blacksmithing and get rich easily," Maylock suggested. "Khi khi khi, wealth may be the end result, but the process must be enjoyed optimally as well, especially if he can achieve even greater feats than this, right?" Goldrich chipped in.
Broken felt a deep sense of satisfaction with the outcomes he had achieved: a Legendary- grade pickaxe and a Unique-grade greatsword. Even though he was tempted to complete the finishing touches on Princess Alora\'s sword, he decided to postpone that task.
"Congrats, Broken," Elincia said warmly.
Ella, who had been standing still in the room, stepped out accompanied by Yara. Her face had been pale throughout the process.
"I guess the results are good?" she asked Yara.
Yara nodded enthusiastically, "Yes, the results are incredible."
"I hope Lord Broken isn\'t disappointed; he should have gotten Unique-grade for the entire ranger set," Ella said.
"That\'s truly remarkable, but I\'m sure Lord Broken will get a full set of Legendary in the future," Yara said confidently.
Broken quickly stored the pickaxe in his inventory, taking just a brief look at the skills and deciding to study them later since they seemed a bit more complex than usual. He informed the others about the spectacular status of the weapons, leaving the detailed skills for himself to analyze later.
The show was over, and one by one, people began to leave the room. Broken also intended to test the weapons directly in combat. For this, he knew exactly who he needed to assist him.
Shortly after, Broken headed out of the city gate to the hunting grounds where the Knights often hunted. He knew Ivana would likely be there.
He took a quick glance at the skill descriptions again and realized he might need some extra hands to thoroughly test the weapons. He contacted Elincia, knowing she could move swiftly, and arranged to meet at a specific spot suitable for testing.
After a few minutes, Broken arrived at the hunting grounds; it was in the middle of a desert. As expected, he found Anna, Damir, and Yann hunting alongside Ivana.
Dismounting from Polly, Broken was soon approached by the Knights and Ivana, who hurried towards him.
"Broken?" Ivana queried with a hint of surprise.
"My Lord, is there something we can assist you with?" one of the Knights asked.
"No, actually, I need Ivana\'s assistance," Broken replied.
"Me?"
"Yes," Broken confirmed, then turned to the other knights. "You all may head back to the city. I\'ll be taking Ivana with me for a while. Please continue your training with the others in the
city."
"Yes, My Lord," the knights responded in unison before heading back towards the city.
After the knights had moved away, Broken and Ivana stood facing each other, Ivana smiling warmly at him. "How\'s the crafting? Are the results meeting your expectations?" she asked.
"I had high expectations."
Ivana giggled at his response. "Alright, let me rephrase that. What were the results?"
"Legendary-grade."
"Really? The greatsword?"
"No," he said, shaking his head slightly, "The pickaxe."
"Pickaxe?" Ivana burst into light laughter, momentarily bending over to cover her mouth. She
then straightened up. "You must be so happy, right?"
Broken nodded, and smiled.
"Do you need me to taunt monsters so you can test the new greatsword and pickaxe?"
"Yes."
"Sure, I\'m happy to help."
Broken reached for Ivana\'s hand and gently took it. "Come," he said. Ivana nodded and
followed.
But as they moved toward Polly, someone suddenly landed gracefully in front of them. It was
a mage girl dressed in a blue outfit-Elincia.
She sighed. "I knew it. Every time I find you, you\'re always cozying up with a girl. If you want
to indulge in romance, don\'t bother inviting me. You know how pathetic it is for me, forever single," she said, putting on a mock sad face.
"What do you mean?"
Elincia glanced at their clasped hands. Broken followed her gaze and quickly released Ivana\'s
hand.
"No, uhm... yes..." he stammered, unsure of what to say.
"Broken has gone further than this, Elincia, so don\'t be surprised," Ivana teased.
"No, don\'t tell me!"
"Don\'t misunderstand, nothing weird happened!" Broken insisted.
