Chapter 79: Sad news

"What is he doing?" One of Moga\'s underlings questioned.

"Do you remember the light we saw when we invaded this place? Moga is trying to recreate that light," Another man replied.

With the mastery he had acquired from Baktou\'s words, Moga summoned a spark using the dried twigs. It danced and flickered before his amazed eyes, eventually erupting into a roaring flame that lit up the night. Gasps of astonishment escaped from the lips of the onlookers.

But then, the unexpected happened. Moga, a cunning and ruthless man, seized one of his own men, a helpless soul who trembled with terror. Without warning, he hurled the unfortunate victim into the searing flames.

The man\'s agonized screams pierced the night, and his body twisted and writhed in pain as he burned.

"I knew it! This thing can kill people, it is dangerous," Moga muttered to himself, as he observed the effects of the fire and took personal notes in his memories.

Moga watched, a strange smile creeping across his face. He knew he had stumbled upon something extraordinary. In a voice filled with a newfound confidence, he ordered his men to fetch water from a nearby stream.

"This man tried to leave our tribe and betray us by joining our attackers, that\'s why he is now in pain and on the verge of dying," Moga shouted showing it wasn\'t just dumb misfortune that caused the demise of the burning man.

"Anyone who tries to betray this Moga will have the same thing done to them,"

His underlings their fear slowly turning into curiosity, hurriedly obeyed Moga\'s command. They doused the burning man\'s body with the water, and as the steam began to rise, something miraculous happened.

The man, though horribly wounded and almost on the brink of death, somehow emerged from the fire, his body covered in strange marks and scars.

The man who was burning earlier twitched from time to time, and he fell on the floor with his whole body still in pain.

A triumphant grin spread across Moga\'s face as he witnessed this incredible feat. He knew he had discovered a weapon beyond imagination, one that could change their world. With newfound purpose, he strode away from the bonfire and into a nearby hut, where he began plotting his next move.

Inside the dimly lit hut, Moga whispered to himself, "They hold the secrets to this extraordinary power. I need to learn more about this, just knowing how to make this light is not enough." His voice was filled with determination, and his eyes gleamed with ambition.

Outside the hut, his men exchanged worried glances. They were confused about what they had just witnessed, and they wondered if they could support Moga anymore because most of them didn\'t even understand what was going on.

But as they observed Moga conversing with a mysterious figure within the hut, they decided not to interfere. There was something extraordinary at play, and they dared not disrupt the unfolding events since they knew they would be the next victim of this extraordinary light if they disturbed him.

Garnt stood before a rustic hut, encircled by Gundo\'s formidable medical team. His eyes fixed on the humble dwelling, he couldn\'t help but overhear a blood-curdling scream emanating from within. It was a voice he recognized, belonging to one of the women rescued from the clutches of Moga.

"It\'s happening," He muttered to himself with eyes not even bothering to leave the hut.

Kara and Unami, standing nearby, exchanged worried glances. But it was Aunt, with her gaze fraught with concern, who bore the heaviest burden. Her chances of becoming pregnant weighed heavily on her mind, as Garnt had already released his semen inside her.

\'Be safe! Be safe!\'

She kept muttering, as she wanted every pregnant woman to be healthy.

As Garnt observed his system, he noticed a new set of blueprints laid out before him. They featured essential items: condoms, fabrics, pads, tampons, and even spindles and looms. Recognizing the importance of these supplies, Garnt wasted no time in purchasing them.

He knew that the fate of the pregnant woman hung in the balance.

Blueprints:-

>Fabrics (8000)

>Spindle and loom (8000)

>Pad, Tampons and Condoms(4000)

"This is rather convenient for the future," He muttered, since he had a simple idea bout the sexual health of women and men.

While he completed his transaction, Eva stepped forward to provide him with some crucial details about each item. Her explanations were concise, yet informative, offering valuable insights into their significance.

[Garnt, these items appeared because of this incident. These are important for the future of your tribe because we need to avoid any problems that appear due to unregulated sex.]

She then proceeded to explain one by one, so Garnt could understand why and for what purpose he needed these things.

Just as Garnt finished his purchase and listened to Eva, Gundo emerged from the hut, her clothes stained with blood, and a look of sorrow etched across her face. Something had clearly gone awry inside.

"What happened? Gundo, is it a success?" Ayra asked since she was the most interested to know about the results.

*Waahh *Waahh

Then, a piercing cry shattered the heavy silence—a baby\'s cry. Everyone was happy to see that delivery was successful but Garnt couldn\'t help but wonder why Gundo appeared so despondent.

"Mother, tell me honestly. What happened? Did something go wrong?" He inquired, and she solemnly revealed that she had only managed to save the newborn, leaving the fate of the others uncertain.

"We tried, Garnt, but things didn\'t go smooth," Gundo began, her voice heavy with regret.

Ayra, Unami and Kara sighed in disappointment upon hearing the answer, understanding the gravity of the situation. They thought everything would go smoothly, but knowing that the newborn baby became an orphan, they couldn\'t help but feel sad about the whole situation.

Garnt, however, looked at Gundo with a determined and concerned expression. He needed to understand the cause of the complications. "What is the cause of death? Is it because we lack something?" he asked firmly, eager to pinpoint any factors that could have contributed to the unfortunate outcome.

Gundo took a deep breath before responding, "Excessive bleeding was the primary cause, and her body lacked the necessary nutrition. She was weak." Her eyes reflected the sadness of the situation, and she clearly felt responsible for not being able to save all the lives.

"Moga had treated them so bad, that even the smallest amount of pain would cause them to lose their mind and-" Gundo hesitated for a minute, but then she decided to continue. "That woman refused to give birth. She said she doesn\'t need the child of these wild animals."

Ayra could only feel the anger and sadness, but Garnt was different.

Garnt carefully noted all the information, his mind racing with thoughts of how to prevent such tragedies in the future. With a resolute tone, he gave orders to increase the supplies of necessary items and improve the hygiene practices in the village.

He emphasized the importance of taking better care of pregnant women and ensuring they received proper nutrition and care.

As Garnt prepared to leave, he assured the women, "I will find a solution to this problem soon. I have some products I need to work on." His determination was evident as he walked away, leaving behind a sense of hope.

"Don\'t worry, things will get better, this is not our fault. So don\'t feel too responsible about it," He left those last words before leaving the place to do his duties as the leader of the village.

Meanwhile, Ayra approached Gundo, understanding the weight of the situation. "We need to support Garnt," she said softly, "He must be feeling the weight of this loss more than anyone else. Let\'s find a way to help him through this."

They shared a moment of empathy for Garnt, knowing that he carried the burden of leadership and responsibility for the village\'s well-being.

\'What are we going to do about the child?" Unami questioned, since she knew without a mother, they wouldn\'t be able to raise the kids since they needed milk.

"We will do everything. We can find a woman who can feed her, but Garnt said that we can let someone adopt these orphan kids. Let\'s work on that." Gundo said and decided to wash her clothes and get rid of all the blood.

She also ordered her medical team to take care fo the situation and clean the room since she didn\'t want any germs spreading around the village.

"I will become a miracle doctor that can save anyone. I need to make my darling proud of me." Gundo promised to herself, as Eva sighed seeing the whole situation.
