Chapter 215: I'm going to kill her!

"What was that now, Samira?" Strax asked, with a slightly suspicious smile, crossing his arms as he waited for an answer.

\'She\'s so cute when she\'s jealous,\' he thought.

"Oh, I just… you know, thought it would be better this way," Samira replied, still avoiding looking directly at either Rogue or Strax as she scratched one of her arms.

Rogue, noticing Samira\'s evasive behavior, crossed her arms and huffed. "You never change, do you, Samira? Always trying to control everything."

Strax sighed, realizing things were more complicated than he initially thought. "So… where does that leave us now?" he asked, trying to mediate the situation as the tension between Samira and Rogue only grew.

Samira finally looked at Strax, feeling cornered, but she kept a firm face. "That leaves us exactly where we\'ve always been. I handle everything my way, and Rogue leaves!"

Rogue laughed, shaking her head. "Sure, Samira. Except this time, you\'re not going to push me away so easily." She looked directly at Strax, her smile now provocative. "After all, I still have some unfinished business here."

Samira narrowed her eyes, her possessiveness and jealousy bubbling to the surface. She knew Rogue wouldn\'t give up easily.

As soon as Rogue finished speaking, Samira was quick to retort, her eyes sparking with irritation. "Unfinished business? Oh, please, Rogue. What do you really want? I thought you had settled everything before you left, but here you are again, popping up out of nowhere and acting all important!"

Rogue tilted her head slightly, her bronzed cleavage subtly visible through her low-cut top, her feline eyes gleaming with a touch of malice. "Darling, don\'t be so dramatic. I said I had things to handle… not that I was disappearing forever. Besides," she blinked slowly, typical of her feline nature, "you\'d miss me. Especially you, Strax." She threw him a provocative glance, which made Samira scoff in disgust.

Strax, watching the two exchange barbs, only sighed, running a hand through his hair in frustration.

"You two can continue this ego clash later. Rogue, why are you really here? Don\'t tell me you just came back to annoy Samira." His voice was firm, but he kept a calm tone, as if already used to their disagreements.

Rogue, with her trademark mischievous smile, stepped closer to Strax, completely ignoring Samira for the moment. "Oh, darling, I\'m here for serious reasons, I swear." Her feline tail swayed slowly from side to side as she walked gracefully around him, almost like a predator circling its prey. "After all, I dissolved my own guild to be here."

The comment made everyone stop. Samira looked at Rogue in disbelief, while Cristine, Beatrice, and Monica, who had been quietly observing the situation until then, exchanged surprised glances.

Strax raised an eyebrow, finally turning all his attention to her.

"You dissolved your guild?" he repeated, his voice filled with disbelief. "That\'s… unexpected. I thought you were a businesswoman."

Rogue shrugged with an almost casual attitude. "Let\'s just say my focus shifted. There were too many things at stake, and you all destroyed my city… I realized you were more interesting than staying behind to rebuild." Her gaze locked onto Strax\'s, this time with a more intense gleam. She smiled, her sharp teeth glinting in the light. "And of course, you\'re part of the reason for that, Strax."

Samira, already on the verge of exploding, took a step forward. "Oh, of course! So you decide to dissolve your entire guild just to come running after us?" She crossed her arms, her expression skeptical. "That sounds way too convenient."

Rogue quickly turned to Samira, her tail flicking provocatively. "Relax, Samira. I\'m not here just for him," she said, still sporting that enigmatic smile. "I have other reasons, things you might not even understand. And besides, dissolving the guild was my decision. I was... bored."

"Bored?" Strax repeated, still processing the information. "Are you saying an entire guild simply ceased to exist because you got bored?"

Rogue shook her head, her expression playful. "Well, among other reasons. But the truth is, I was tired of all that guild politics. People complaining, dealing with ridiculous missions... I was losing the best part of life. And the best part of life, Strax, is adventure." She pointed at him, leaning in dangerously close, "You have a knack for attracting pretty interesting adventures."

Samira rolled her eyes, huffing. "Oh, please, Rogue. Don\'t tell me this is just a lame excuse to keep flirting with him." She looked at Strax, expecting him to say something, but he only kept his gaze steady on Rogue.

Rogue, pretending to ignore Samira\'s comment, began to circle Strax again, this time more slowly. Her posture was undeniably seductive, typical of a feline hunting, which was part of her Cheetah nature. She let out a soft purr, her voice low and teasing. "Well, Strax, I\'ve already told you the main reason... but there\'s another reason why I\'m here."

She stopped in front of him, leaning slightly toward him, her eyes gleaming intensely. "I... might... be tired of running alone. The road can be pretty... lonely sometimes." Her voice almost sounded like a purr, and her mischievous smile indicated that even if she was speaking seriously, she was still enjoying testing Strax\'s limits.

\'I\'M GOING TO KILL HER!\' Samira started to move toward Rogue, gripping the spear that was planted in the ground, but was quickly held back by Monica.

"Calm down..." she whispered.

Strax maintained an impassive expression, though internally he was trying to decipher Rogue\'s true motives. Had she always been this playful, this provocative? Was there something deeper in what she was saying now? He knew Rogue wasn\'t the type of woman to make impulsive decisions, especially involving the dissolution of an entire guild.

Well, at least he thought so since he met her, which honestly hadn\'t been for long.

"Are you sure about this, Rogue?" he asked, looking directly into her feline eyes. "Dissolving your guild, joining us... these are big decisions. They aren\'t something you can easily undo."

Rogue blinked slowly, like a feline about to pounce. "I never do anything I\'m not willing to carry, Strax." She smiled. "The truth is... I enjoy challenges. And you, well... you and your wives are certainly an interesting challenge."

Monica, who had been quiet until now, finally spoke up, her voice gentle but laced with concern. "Rogue, is this serious? Do you really want to leave everything behind and join us? It doesn\'t seem like something you would do."

Rogue looked at Monica with a less teasing and more sincere smile. "I know, it sounds strange. But... there are bigger things happening, and I feel like this is where I should be. Something pulled me back to you guys."

Irritated, Samira intervened again. "Right, but that doesn\'t mean you can just come back and... think everything will be normal." She shot a challenging look at Rogue. "You may have your reasons, but I know exactly what you\'re trying to do here."

Rogue chuckled, leaning back and crossing her arms. "Oh, Samira... you\'ve always been so protective. But don\'t worry. I\'m not here to steal anyone. I just want to have a little fun." She winked at Strax cheekily, clearly trying to provoke a reaction.

Strax, however, sighed and rubbed his temples, trying to stay focused. "Look, can you two stop arguing for five minutes? I really need to understand what\'s going on here." He looked back at Rogue. "You dissolve your guild, come to us, and now want to stay... for how long? What do you expect to gain from this?"

Rogue stared at him for a moment before shrugging again. "As long as I find it necessary, of course. I\'m not exactly the type to make rigid plans." She then moved in closer once more, stopping dangerously near Strax, a mischievous glint in her eyes. "And as for what I gain... well, that depends a lot on you."

"I\'m going to kill her," Samira said, grabbing the spear again and advancing toward Rogue, but Rogue quickly dodged.

As Samira lunged with her spear, Rogue\'s quick reflexes saved her, as one would expect from a Cheetah. She sidestepped with impressive agility, almost dancing around Samira\'s strike, her feline tail playfully swaying as she spun around and stopped next to Strax.

"Whoa there, Samira! Are you really that mad because I paid a little more attention to your hubby?" Rogue laughed, her voice laced with sarcasm, but with a touch of feline provocation that made her smile appear even sharper.

Samira, still gripping the spear, glared furiously at Rogue. "Do you have the nerve to provoke me after everything? I knew you hadn\'t changed. From the beginning, you were always interested in meddling where you didn\'t belong!"

Rogue, displaying her typical confidence, shrugged again, not appearing the least bit intimidated. "Oh, Samira, you know it\'s all in good fun. No need to get so possessive. Besides," she glanced at Strax with that playful, feline look, "if I really wanted something, do you think you could stop me?"

"I\'m going to kill her," Samira repeated with icy determination, spinning the spear in her hands and preparing for another attack.
