Chapter 496: Security! Save Me (2)
Chapter 496: Security! Save Me (2)
“You damn bitch, dare you hit me!” Wang Hao yelled angrily as he opened the car door and got out.
“Smack!”
“Thud!”
Wang Hao had just stepped out of the car when Zhou Chao’s slap sent him spinning, and his head hit the car.
“Damn it, security, security, can’t you see I’ve been attacked?” Wang Hao held his head and shouted loudly toward the entrance, gathering a crowd of onlookers.
Several security guards at the entrance heard the commotion and hurried over.
“Young Master Wang, what happened?” One of the leading security guards approached Wang Hao anxiously and asked quietly.
“Didn’t you see me being attacked? Come on, hit him back for me. I’ll take responsibility for whatever happens!” Wang Hao pointed at Zhou Chao and yelled.
The head security guard looked somewhat reluctant to act and exchanged a few hushed words with another security guard who had approached him.
“Captain, the handsome guy who hit Young Master Wang is a VIP guest of Teacher He. I personally checked when he arrived, and I saw Teacher He’s assistant welcoming him. This could be tricky for us!”
“What are you two whispering about? Are my words not persuasive enough? I’ll have my dad call and talk to you!” Wang Hao’s face turned ashen as he felt embarrassed in front of so many people. After all, he, Master Wang, valued his reputation greatly.
“Young Master Wang, perhaps there’s a misunderstanding between you. Why don’t you negotiate with each other? We’d rather not wait for any trouble,” the head security guard suggested cautiously, not wanting to deal with the aftermath.
“Get lost!” Wang Hao shoved the head security guard, then pointed at the others and said, “You three, step forward. The one who hits the hardest will be promoted to captain by my father!”
The three security guards looked at each other and, following the captain’s signal, acted as if they were bystanders.
Wang Hao, seeing that they remained motionless, grew even angrier. He pointed at Zhou Chao and said in a rage, “Fine, if you won’t listen to me, just wait. You, kid, you dared to hit me. I’ll make sure you regret it!”
Finally, Wang Hao turned his gaze to Zhou Chao, who found the situation rather amusing. He had never encountered such a spoiled second-generation rich kid. Well, it was about time!
“Dad, where are you? I’ve been attacked, right at the entrance. Security? The security guards are just watching me being humiliated. Alright, I’m waiting here for you!” Wang Hao hung up the phone, looking smug as he glanced at Zhou Chao and the others. As he smiled, the pain from the slap suddenly surged back to his face.
“Alright, alright, everyone disperse. It’s getting late, and those who came to watch the excitement can go back now,” the head security guard said, trying to clear the crowd.
He knew that the real drama was about to unfold, and it wouldn’t be suitable for these onlookers.
At this moment, a black business car pulled up behind them, and a not-so-tall figure got out of the car. It was Teacher He, whom Zhou Chao had been waiting for.
As soon as he got out of the car, Teacher He noticed that something was amiss. He hurriedly jogged over, looking worried. “Young Master Zhou, what’s happening here?”
Seeing the anxious expression on Teacher He’s face, Zhou Chao smiled faintly and said, “It’s nothing, Teacher He. We just encountered a little trouble, like running into a stray dog.”
“A dog?” Teacher He was somewhat puzzled, but when he saw the two bright red handprints on Wang Hao’s face, he had a rough idea of what had happened. After all, he had heard of Young Master Wang’s notorious reputation.
Zhou Chao didn’t hide anything and explained the situation in detail, including how Wang Hao had known their seat numbers before the show and how things had escalated.
“He dug his own grave; he’s asking for trouble!” Teacher He thought to himself when he heard about Wang Hao’s actions before the performance.
Just as Teacher He was still puzzled, a figure hurriedly rushed out of the building, shouting, “Xiao Hao, where are you? Are you okay?”
“Dad, I’m here, ouch… it hurts!” Wang Hao cried out, and a tooth fell out of his mouth, rolling on the ground.
“Good boy, are you alright? Tell me who hit you, and I’ll make sure he regrets it.” A heavily overweight figure stood next to Wang Hao and said.
Seeing his father arrive, Wang Hao cried even harder and pointed at Zhou Chao and the others, saying, “It’s him, it’s him who hit me and knocked out one of my teeth.”
Wang Ritian, who was Wang Hao’s father, turned his gaze towards Zhou Chao and the others. When he saw Teacher He standing beside Zhou Chao, a hint of surprise flashed in his eyes. However, he still walked over with a stern expression on his face.
“Teacher He, are you familiar with these two?” Wang Ritian asked, but he was mainly directing his question to Teacher He. “Please explain how to resolve this matter. My son was attacked, and we need a resolution. I don’t want to cause trouble, but if we let this slide, it won’t end well. I can’t afford to lose face like this.”
“Leader Wang, you should first understand the whole story behind this incident before making any decisions. Take a good look at what kind of person your son is. Sometimes, it’s better to understand the facts before getting involved in a situation to avoid causing trouble with the wrong people,” Teacher He replied without giving any face. Although he didn’t want to offend anyone, he also wanted to remind his colleague. If Zhou Chao were to handle this on his own, the consequences would be beyond imagination. However, as a colleague, he also had to give a fair warning.
Wang Ritian hadn’t expected Teacher He to be so unyielding, but he had his suspicions. Without showing it on his face, he glanced at Zhou Chao and the others behind him. He realized that this situation might not be as simple as it seemed. Teacher He’s support was a sign that Zhou Chao and his companion had a significant background. He couldn’t help but think that compared to these two, his son was nothing but a pile of mud.
Thoughts raced through his mind as he considered the implications of this situation. These two individuals must have some serious connections to earn Teacher He’s support. He could only apologize to his son quietly as he silently concluded that he couldn’t afford to mess with these people.
Then, Wang Ritian turned to Wang Hao, who was rubbing his face on the side, and called out, “Get over here!”
“Dad, what’s going on?”
“You need to tell me what happened!” Wang Ritian, a seasoned veteran of the workplace, quickly came up with a solution.
Wang Hao was taken aback for a moment but, seeing Teacher He smiling beside him, he knew that Teacher He had spoken to his father. A trace of resentment flickered in his eyes.
“Dad, I… I…”
“What T? Speak up! Whose fault is it? Did you harass that girl because you found her attractive? Tell me, is that what happened?” Wang Ritian’s tone became heavier, and his anger intensified.
Wang Hao was momentarily stunned, not yet fully understanding the situation. He had called his father for help, but now it seemed like he had called reinforcements for the other side.
Before he could react, his father’s affectionate hand landed on his face, causing him to collapse to the ground in a daze.
“Dad, did you just hit me?” Wang Hao said, incredulous, as he covered his face.
“If a son isn’t taught well, it’s the father’s fault. Your mother has spoiled you too much. Today, I’ll make sure you regret this!” Wang Ritian said, preparing to take off his belt.
Teacher He quickly stepped forward and intervened, saying, “Leader Wang, if you want to discipline him, do it at home. Fighting here won’t look good.”
Wang Ritian stopped his actions upon hearing this, turned around, and looked at Zhou Chao and his companion apologetically, saying, “I’m sorry for causing you trouble today. I’ll definitely educate him properly when we get home. I might have to send him to the hospital to straighten him out.”
“Young Master Zhou, how about we just let this matter go like this?” Teacher He also pleaded.
Zhou Chao could clearly see that this leader was putting on a show for him, and given the circumstances, he couldn’t refuse. He nodded in agreement.
“I hope you’ll discipline him well. If you encounter someone with a short temper, today’s incident might not end so peacefully. Teacher He, you mentioned inviting us for a good meal, and my stomach is rumbling.”
“Oh, I’m sorry, my apologies. Let’s go, I’ll take you in my car!”
Immediately, Zhou Chao held Jiang Li’s hand and followed Teacher He into his luxury car, leaving only a few people standing in the cold wind.
“Dad, why did you hit me? Why didn’t you help me earlier?”
“Hit you? I wanted to knock some sense into you! Didn’t you see Teacher He’s attitude? It indicates that these two people have powerful backgrounds. Thanks to Teacher He, if it weren’t for him, I might have beaten you to a pulp. Now, get up and go back!” He even added a kick for good measure..
