Chapter 51: Before the Meeting
The entire world was shaken by the appearance of those calamity monsters, and although they appeared only once in a while (when someone failed a domination trial), they were still feared by many.
And what made this new case even stranger was the fact one of the monsters had spoken for the first time.
The name \'Chosen\' was analyzed by experts all over the world, yet couldn\'t find anyone, all they knew was that \'Chosen\' was related to the appearance of these monsters.
Stark had also taken a good break after everything he went through, spending the last days just lazing around, only going outside to eat or to grab groceries.
Soon enough though, he realized that tomorrow was the supposed meeting with Lana at the capital, and so he needed to get everything in order before that.
He hailed for a taxi yet again, then went to the classifier trading district of Fellarburg.
Instead of going in the morning like his first time, he went at 4pm, which was pretty much the busy hour as thousands upon thousands of people were navigating the streets.
\'Classifiers Trading Association\'
He arrived in front of the massive building and entered it, yet again greeted by a receptionist who guided him toward a room where he could appraise and sell his items.
His appraiser this time was a white-haired beautiful woman that looked to be in her early thirties.
She was smoking a cigarette while waiting for the next customer, and she gently smiled upon seeing Stark.
"Let\'s get started, boy," she immediately asked for his items, and Stark didn\'t waste time either.
He wanted to sell two things: the sword he took from that guy before, and the [Devourer\'s Ring] since it was useless for him.
In the end, after a bit of negociating, he managed to sell the sword for 220,000 Rher coins, and the ring for 440,000, giving him a fair amount of money on his account.
"Those rings on your finger look fabulous, mind if I take a look at them too~" the woman seductively said, she had keen eyes, able to spot that these rings wee much more valuable.
"I would rather not," Stark shook his head and left the reception room.
With these new sales, Stark had reached over 800,000 Rher coins in his account, and his assets probably ranged around 2 millions because of the unsold items.
It wasn\'t much for now, but going from 0 to this was already phenomenal.
[Market Section]
He then moved to the market section, many signs indicating where it was, and it also had the highest amount of people.
There were severals halls and elevators inside the market itself, as it was seperated into multiple categories: low-level items, middle-level items, high-level items… and much more.
He took an elevator to the sixth floor, and there a sign informed him he was indeed in the [Low-Level Items] section of the market.
There were hundreds of people roaming the halls, looking for the items they wanted.
The area was lavishly decorated, and hundreds of display cases were neatly arranged in a way for everything to be visible.
[Items], [Skill Scrolls], [Weapons], [Staffs]…
There was everything related to any and every class, ranging from Beast Tamer to even Alchemist.
Everything… except for Domination.
He searched for a good ten minutes, but there was no such thing as even a single domination item.
\'Fucking hell… this makes it even harder…\'
He approached the [Skill Scrolls], which were all displayed in cases, and there were even screens with the thousands of items available for people to scroll and find them easily.
…
[Item:] Skill Scroll
[Skill:] Animal Spirits

…
All these things were available for people who had money, yet there were no \'Domination\' skills.
\'I knew it would be useless…\' he left the market section without buying anything.
But this visit had just served to confirm what he mostly suspected: with his current class, there was no way to get an advantage using money except for wearable items such as rings…
He left the \'Classifiers Trading Association\' shortly after, and found himself in the bustling streets again.
\'I guess i\'ll just eat then go back home, need to get ready for tomorrow…\'
But while walking to the restaurant, Stark decided to check his status window as he hadn\'t done it in a while.

[Skill Points: 5 Available]
\'Holy… I keep forgetting about them!\' Stark smacked his own head, resulting in some people giving him weird looks, he hadn\'t used any since level 12 after all…
[You have upgraded \'Domination\' to level 6!]
[You have upgraded \'Clone Frenzy\' to level 5!]
[You have upgraded \'Invincible Dodge\' to level 2!]
And of course, the moment \'Clone Frenzy\' reached level 5, it unlocked a new perk, much like every other skill so far.
…
[Skill: Clone Frenzy]
[New Perk: You are allowed to summon two clones, their HP is still one though]
…
\'Holy shit… this is incredible,\' Clone Frenzy was one of his most powerful skills, and as long as the clone itself was able to dodge attacks, then it was basically like a slightly weaker Stark with his own thoughts.
After grinning for a few minutes, and attracting the attention of more classifiers, Stark entered a luxurious restaurant (it was to reward himself for working so hard, otherwise he would never do that) and went back home after an hour.
He could hear talks about the calamity-level monsters around him, and the name \'Chosen\' escaped the mouths of others dozens of times.
None of them could imagine that the responsible was right here, but honestly he preferred it that way, of course, Stark still loved to be praised, but in this situation, it would be mostly be threats rather than praises.
Soon enough, he called out for a taxi and went back to his hotel room, spending the next few hours scrolling around on his phone before sleeping.
Tomorrow would be his meeting with Lana, one where they would discuss the level 35-50 Hell-Level rift that was gonna open soon around Fellarburg, attracting hundreds of powerful classifiers.
