Chapter 67: The Secret Rift's Mini-Boss Appears!
And yet… how did a level 16 classifier avoid them all?
Plus, the worse thing of all was Stark\'s taunt.
Not many would let that slide usually, but they could go nothing when he was on the other side of the canyon, with no possibility for them to traverse except if they found the \'TP Pearl\' or waited the 12 hours.
[Someone has just passed the \'Death Canyon\']

\'Ah…\' many sighed as this could only mean one thing…
And although they knew, they still clicked on the video regardless, resulting in it playing in front of everybody.
Of course, the content was obvious: Stark getting the pearl from the minotaur, approaching the edge, and throwing it, resulting in everyone dashing at him.
But this wasn\'t what surprised people the most.
There was a subtle detail when you zoomed and turned the camera on any angle.
And that detail was… HOW THE FUCK DID STARK AVOID THEIR ATTACKS?
They were far stronger than he was for sure, and yet even with their speed, he somehow… passed through it all?
"Doesn\'t make sense," Old Kai, a beast tamer with a crow on his shoulder, sighed, he was part of another powerhouse of beast tamers, a guild called, "The Monster Raiders".
"Did you see him avoid my scythe?" a blond-haired girl with stars in her purple eyes exclaimed, she was a warrior and her family was very well off as well.
But no… everyone who was watching the video could see it: he didn\'t avoid the scythe… IT LITERALLY PASSED THROUGH HIM WHILE HE WAS ROLLING.
It wasn\'t the only attack, many others also somehow passed through as if he was air, feeling like reality was distorted around that boy.
"I\'ve seen lots of skills in my life," Vex laughed, playing with his heart again, "But this is definitely a legendary skill at minimum, no other way!"
"…?"
Every single one of them (except for Lana) ranged from level 100 to 125 at most (since at some point the rift doesn\'t allow you to enter if it is too easy).
And yet… they all knew the implications of what a legendary skill was.
After all, even among them, many didn\'t have one.
"No way he got a skill that is legendary at level 16?"
"What if he is dirt rich and bought it using his family\'s money?"
"Doesn\'t make sense, even if you buy a legendary skill scroll, you still need to meet the requirements, and there are enormous chances to fail the awakening of the skill as it is based on your level!"
None of them knew of the domination trial, and it was better that way since probably none of them would have survived if they had been placed in Stark\'s position.
***
Back to the black-haired boy, he turned after mocking all those that tried to attack him, honestly thanking everything for the [Invincible Dodge] skill as it was truly a blessing.
It was only \'Epic\' in its rarity, but he honestly believed it should at least be legendary if not more because of how useful it was.
But unbeknownst to Stark, it wasn\'t that the skill was powerful, it was just that he had the perfect combination to use it at its full potential.
He had never thought about it, but the fact he had the [Focus] skill, which allowed him to see one micro-second in advance, was basically the perfect blend with [Invincible Dodge] who required perfect timing.
Anybody else would have failed to dodge an attack at least once until now, and yet Stark had always succeeded.
It was like he was in a character in a souls game, able to dodge the attacks of every enemy and leaving them with absolutely no chance to retaliate or hit him.
Stark felt happy about what he had done.
But suddenly…
~FWISH, CRASH~
"Huh?" all the people on the other side of the canyon looked in horror as they saw a giant thing coming out from it.
Stark also heard noise behind him, so he turned, thinking that those losers on the other side were still fussing over his small victory, and then, coming from the canyon, a massive black golem with twisting metal appendages sprang forth from it, its rock-hard body glowing with an ominous aura.
In addition to that, its giant cubic head had three cubic eyes looking down at him.
And once it stood completely, it became obvious the golem was at least twenty meters tall.
Stark\'s eyes widened, a few seconds ago he was at the top of the world, and the moment he turned, he was now facing an impossible opponent.
"DAMAGE WALLS!" before he could even analyze it using [Perception], the monster attacked.
Summoning four rock-solid walls in all directions, which were all closing in on Stark.
…
[Damage Wall: 10000/10000]
[Perk: deals massive damage if crushed by it, the damage is doubled every other wall that touches the target]
…
This meant… that if he was hit by that thing, it was game over.
~FWISH~
"THAT\'S WHAT YOU GET!" many classifiers laughed at Stark for being too certain of himself.
The [Damage Wall] might as well be called an \'unavoidable attack\' if the opponent doesn\'t know about it since it closes off too quick for them to react.
At least… that would be the case if Stark didn\'t have a skill to get out of this situation.
"INVINCIBLE DODGE!" he rolled away, and completely avoided the walls crashing on him thanks to his invincibility frames.
The walls all crumbled as they all hit each other, the absence of Stark making them take all their damage and go back into the ground.
Beyond the rubble and the dust that formed, Stark could be seen standing, a smirk on his face while he was wiping his sweating forehead.
"Nice try~" he smiled, "Try that again and it might work!"
"SEE, HE DID IT AGAIN!" a young boy, possibly Stark\'s age (although he had a bigger level somehow), "HE IS FINE WHILE BEING HIT BY THAT!"
"I\'m telling you, this is a legendary skill!" Vex confirmed, enjoying the show as he didn\'t know his newest recruit had such talent (of course Stark had no plans to stay with the \'Crimson Moon Squad\').
And suddenly, a panel appeared in front of everyone as Stark began facing the giant golem.
[Secret Rift Mini-Boss: "Obsidian Golem lv50", was found!]
And just as they all guessed, that was the thing Stark would need to fight… ALONE!
