Chapter 10
*Dudududududu*
The distance was once again filled with the sounds of gunshots and alarms blaring.
In the parking lot, Grey, who was hiding beside one of the cars, watched the zombies begin to leave the area, heading towards where there was more noise to be heard.
"Good, just like that...". Gray murmured.
So, as a result, he was able to move ahead, and down in the parking lot he saw a supermarket. This is just one of the many supermarkets in the area.
It was Pesko Extra.
This one was huge. It contained a wide variety of different items, including backpacks, clothes, food, and electronic devices.
Pretty much, everything Gray would need. Which is why he decided on heading inside.
Risk? It was definitely risky. There was no telling what kind of zombies were there.
However, were there any other options?
To get to where he was, Gray had moved across the city, jumping from building to building whilst making as little noise as possible. He had avoided getting in contact with any of the zombies so far because he had always remained hidden.
His mobility would have been severely restricted in almost all of the convenience stores he saw. Initially, he had hoped to get into a normal and small convenience store but ultimately gave up on it.
As opposed to entering a small store and getting bitten because of his inability to move around, it would be better to go to a huge supermarket and be able to move freely.
Gray thought as such. However, despite that, he knew the idea was stupid.
Gray took a deep breath after seeing that everything was clear before he got up and started walking. In the midst of sleep deprivation and exhaustion after having not rested for several days, he expected nothing less.
Due to the condition he was in, even his HP was reduced.
[HP: 10/10] [Injured: -5]
\'Why is it -5 now? It was -4 a while ago.\'
[As a result of the body being restless, an additional point was deducted from the total health score]
Gray was shocked when he looked at his HP. Previously, he had not given much thought to it, but the longer he went without treatment, the less HP he would have overall. In an emergency situation, this would be detrimental.
In the end, his HP would have been 15/15 without the minus five
The man shook his head, choosing to focus instead on the task at hand. This wasn\'t the time to be distracted.
Three corpses roamed the area, and there were perhaps six or seven motionless bodies on the ground.
Even with the sound of gunshots and alarms in the distance, these ones refused to budge.
According to Gray, what he had observed so far was that they reacted to what they saw and heard.
Gray picked up a pebble and walked along quietly, using the cars as a means of hiding himself.
The zombies did not notice him, so he was able to get pretty close to the entrance without being spotted. From where he stood, he could see the entrance clearly.
Upon approaching the super market in front of him, he noticed pieces of bloody glass lying around the dried pool of blood on the ground. Some of the panels of glass had broken.
The sign was clearly bad, but he had no other option.
Grey hurled the pebble at a nearby pole, causing the pole to resound with a loud clang. Gray sprinted inside at full speed as soon as they turned their attention to it.
The zombies\' attention was focused on the sounds they heard and the explosions across the street, so they did not notice Gray enter the store.

Gray moved cautiously inside, certain that he would run into a zombie or two. If they behaved like the deranged one who chased him before and started screaming, then Gray would be screwed.
Despite the store being nearly two stories high on only the first floor, he would still be restricted in his movements. Consequently, he could not run or jump onto a platform; he would pause in the air.
As far as he was concerned, that was what he thought until he entered the store.
It was huge, no doubt about that. So big that he was starting to doubt that his movements would truly be limited limited. There was enough space for a whole tank to move around in here.
The lights in the store were still on, indicating the power was still on. He stepped on the shards as he moved forward, and emitted a crackling noise as he did so.
In the distance, he could hear zombies growling.
The first thing Gray did after passing through the gates was look for the medical section. In this store, there were many sections and rows, numbered and labeled.
Gray\'s current location was section one, which he could see from the sign on the roof. This was the entrance.
Gray held his breath while walking around this section of the building. A foul smell emanated from the ground, where flies buzzed around the dead bodies.
It was bloody and there were bodies everywhere.
But it wasn\'t a surprise to him, after all, supermarkets are usually always busy. It would be the one place you wouldn\'t want to be if a zombie apocalypse broke out.
He ignored the corpses and continued walking.
