Chapter 92

“Incapacitated? As you can see I am fit for combat or should I show you? Also, you simply did your duty... Don’t dwell on the past” Alex took a step forward as he said those words.

The two stood face to face in silence, glaring at each other coldly. Damian who always had an indifferent look on his face now had a small frown. Who would have thought Alex would come and challenge his brother like that.

He is not even in his peak condition if he decides to fight!

The state down lasted a minute or more before a small smile bloomed on Damian’s face as he stepped back and said.

“I apologize then, lead the way home will follow” Damian said.

“Cool.. as long as you understand!” Alex said and turned to One sword and asked in an icy tone.

“How many people did we lose?”

“12... Sir” One sword and the other guards could sense the hostility in his voice as he spoke.

.....

They understood why! Not only did they abandon him for a strong captain, but they also abandoned him in a deserted location in a bad condition. They were too quick to change sides without any form of hesitation.

The icy look on his face made everyone distant and reluctant to look him in the eye.

“38 will do... Prepare the vehicles... We keep pushing while we roll have the advantage” Alex said coldly and left while tugging Tracy along by pulling her hand.

In a few minutes they were back on the road, Alex sat in silence with Tracy, Damian, and One sword. In less than an hour, they had entered the residential areas and met no resistance in the way and this made him uncomfortable. His eyes hid his intentions and emotions.

Bang,!

Suddenly a powerful explosion rocked the entire street as a powerful explosion shook everything! Alex silently watched as two vehicles Infront lit up in flames. His eyes remained cold as he refused to order retreats many died and are dying as they attempted to drive through the entire area.

“The three Snake casino is just up ahead... That’s where we will find Me. Blade! We kill him, they lose the guts to fight back! We win so keep moving forward!” Alex ordered coldly

Bang!

Bang!

Bang!

Countless rains down on them but they kept moving. This would be scarier If more people were dying but somehow the shells exploded above them repeatedly! It felt like they were under the protection of a divine being but he didn’t believe that shit. He knew Damian probably had his method and reasons.

<> Alex muttered In his head

Meanwhile, Alex who was planning to wipe out all those on his side so he can request a new set of guards but it didn’t work out. He silently cursed Damian as the took a sharp turn to the right, at the end of the road was a massive building with a three Snakehead logo molded into a mighty sculpture.

In front of the casino, the cars stopped after forming a barricade, only then did they come down to face those shooting at them. When the Tyrant gang was first creep into Florida, the government and the Briggs had every opportunity to tackle it but they never did. The innocent people around were been oppressed and forced to join and since there was no one there to protect them from the gang, they had no choice but to join.

That’s why he seemed like the entire area was filled with gang members.

<> Alex lampooned but he dared not stop as he walked into the casino with Tracy am a bunch of guards surrounding them and shooting back.

Entering the doors they were greeted by another group and a gunfight broke out! With his silver statue technique, he just stood in front of Tracy and just acted as a shield while he watched the fight take place.

“There is an underground facility below the casino... That’s where they are hiding everything” Tracy said coldly.

Right now she was giving off the same vibe as Silver which made Alex raise an eyebrow.

<> Alex said in his mind.

His eyes remained pinned on Tracy as he backed them. Men around him dropped one after the other but Alex didn’t look their way. Neither did he bother trying to get involved in the fight.

“Fuck it!” One sword screamed furiously as he left his position and shot towards the enemy swinging his blade madly.

A crescent-shaped sword light raced towards goons and while some jumped out of the way a good number were split in two.

The goons took over now but none of that could stop One sword as he charged forward.

He swung his blades skillfully, creating sword lights around him that blocked the incoming bullets almost effortlessly. His eyes remained squinted as he danced around with strange footwork which made him look like he was hopping through time and space. Each time he hopped, if a person failed to pay attention properly, it always looked like he vanished and reappeared somewhere else.

Watching One sword decimate the enemy forces, Alex was slightly stunned but he was soon able to discern the trick behind the technique.

Before the blue comets came martial art techniques existed, each effective to an extent, making humans perform superhuman feats but as soon as the blue comet fell, man evolved, plants and animals evolved and so did martial arts. With. The secrets of the human body were revealed to the world, martial art techniques were studied judiciously and it yielded greater results.

The strange footwork technique simply required someone to fake his movements, leading people around him to strongly believe he wishes to move in a certain direction and then skillfully mask his movement as you moved the other direction.

It could be considered a simple misdirection technique but once a person masters it, they can easily fool an entire crowd. The fact that One sword was able to utilize this technique repeatedly proved how much control he had over his body!

He kept vanishing and reappearing, cutting down the enemy’s insight.

“I will search for the entrance to the underground facility... All I need is time” Tracy said to Alex as she waved her hands and numerous tiny spider-like robots fell off her sleeves and spread across the room, moving in different directions.

“Take all the time you need... We are not in a hurry” Alex shrugged his shoulders in response. His words were like daggers, piercing the hearts of all those around him.

After they abandoned Alex and followed Damian’s command, Alex’s orders became strange. The leader who once put their lives into account now acted recklessly with it now. It was clear he was more than willing to watch all of them die here but then, going against the Briggs is more terrifying than death so they had no choice but to follow his orders.

Unless Damian says otherwise, they can only follow his orders while putting in a lot of effort to keep themselves alive as well.

Meanwhile,

One sword kept blitzing the enemy’s, cutting them down as he moved. In a minute or more he had already cleared all those in this reception hallway and he quickly dashed into the next room.

There the men sitting there were all dressed in black tuxedos while they played card. They all had similar tattoos on their necks and even when One sword entered the room they were not too stunned. They looked at him inquisitively as if they were trying to discern his true identity.

On this floor, there were a total of five and even when they realized they were going against a B-rated guardian, they didn’t seem to be bothered.

Alex walked into the room with Tracy and Damian. A few guards followed while the rest waited at the reception hall just in case the Tyrant gang goons from outside tried to enter. Meanwhile, Alex kept was slightly stunned by the composure of these five people. Even the weakest B-rated deviant is strong enough to go against three or more top C-rated deviants without breaking a sweat.

Meanwhile, One sword who was amongst the top B rated deviants wasn’t enough to scare the hell out of them! Alex couldn’t help but find this suspicious!
