Chapter 313

With teleportation formations set up, trade between the three planets under the banner of the Nameless family was able to interact and trade with each other. Under Alex’s guide, more false seeds were produced and more guardians were shipped from one planet to another to help enrich each other while bringing out the best in their people.

After the first year of his return, Alex had officially gotten married to Sharyn and the new couple had a son as well, sealing her position in his life but also sealing the relationship between the Deity race and the human race.

...... Present day, Nameless Core members meeting room.......

In what looked like a massive lecture hall with countless seats leading down to the podium below, Alex stood at the bottom with a calm look on his face.

He wore a thick black pilot suit and around his face was a well-trimmed and carved mustache and a perfectly calm look on his face.

He watched the footage playing on the massive screen behind him. While other core members frowned at what they saw, Alex remained calm and unmoved.

“It’s been five years since I came back and took over this world. It has been peaceful all this while and never has I given someone a reason to fear and I want to keep it that way” Alex said calmly.

“I propose we take the fight to the arriving Danite fleet. Let’s meet them outside and settle the score there. There is no need for us to let them step foot into our paradise!” Alex added with a deep frown.

.....

“I refuse” A youth who remained the same as he was in the past five years.

“Silver?” Alex asked with a raised eyebrow.

“The Danites have clearly stated they have come to speak about your wish to turn what can potentially become a peaceful ending into a blood bath. I say it’s worth the try. We should be allowed to try the peaceful option first before we reap everyone’s throats out” Silver shrugged his shoulders as he spoke

Alex chuckled at his words too, acting perfectly calm even though the threat of war was at their doors. The aura these two exuded in the meeting room alone was more than enough for the rest of the members of the room to feel calm.

“I suggest while we entertain the Danites, we dispatch a team of our finest soldiers, to continue investigating the progress of the invaders in the war with the alliance.” Sharyn said calmly while a young boy with spiked black hair and pitch-black eyes sat by her side. He seemed calm and quiet, with his eyes pinned on Alex alone.

Hearing news concerning the invaders, even Alex and Silver frowned. This strange race is the only being that can force a reaction from Alex and Silver.

“We already had a plan on this matter...” Silver said with a sly smile on his face.

Hearing this, Sharyn’s eyes chilled as she turned her attention to Alex.

“We plan to investigate this matter ourselves as soon as we are done with the Danites. You should know how delicate this matter is. We can’t just leave it to just anyone” Alex said calmly with a firm tone.

Bang!

Sharyn slammed the armchairs, incinerating them almost instantly.

“There is a reason why we have armies! We cannot have our main leaders put themselves in danger! Please reconsider!” Sharyn stretched her hand and bowed.

“PLEASE RECONSIDER!”

Voices boomed around the room causing Alex and Silver to frown. Right now the two of them hold the greatest authority but also the least as well. In situations like this, their hands were tied and they were helpless.

But no this time!

“Silence!” Alex’s voice carried fierce power, knocking everyone back to their seats, including Sharyn!

“A god needs no army. A god needs no pawns. We are gods... we will deal with this situation in the most effective way possible” Alex said with a stern look on his face.

“I am no fool. Before making this decision, I considered every single scenario and this is the best of them all. I am not asking for your approval. We are not asking for your help. All we ask is that you have faith in us. We are called the invincible duo for a reason” Silver said with a chilled look, unlike Alex.

With the two seemingly unwilling to change their stance on this matter, Sharyn and the others felt like their hands were tied.

“No! I won’t let you keep risking your life like this... You have a family” Sharyn said with a frown and quickly stood up and began walking out of the hall.

Following her an entire section of the hall room left with her. It seemed like those were the people under the faction.

“You know, I agree with her this time. No one is truly invincible. Both of you have had close brushes with death a couple of times already. As long as someone like you can exist, there must be someone else at your level or even higher. They may catch you off-guard as well. What I ask is that you let us sacrifice ourselves willingly to improve our chances of survival. Not every life can be saved!” Jalic Gale said and bowed before turning and leaving with another section of the room.

Leaving behind only the human faction.

“With two-thirds of the council refusing to let us go, we may not be able to do as we wish this time” Silver laughed

“We are gods. We can just leave, why do we have to listen?” Alex asked coldly.

“A leader without rules is not a king, he is just a tyrant. The codes and rules we live by define us. It is the reason we have progressed this far and survived for this long. Let’s keep living by this code, okay?” Silver said with a raised eyebrow before turning to leave and the human faction left with him as well.

Leaving Alex all alone in the room.
