Everyone smiled bitterly when they heard Xu Que’s words.

One of the cultivators shook his head. “It’s no use. You can’t increase Good points by helping each other.”

“Rest assured. My method works, I guarantee. It’s up to whether or not you guys will cooperate! Of course, it’s also okay if you don’t want to do this. I swear on my ethics and Buttface’s morals that we would never exact revenge,” Xu Que said sincerely.

Ethics? Morals?

To hell with that! Do you have ethics? Or morals for that matter?

Everyone’s mouths twitched, but they could not say anything. However, in the face of Xu Que’s questions, everyone began to look at one another, unable to decide on their next steps. They had wanted to leave the prison cell sooner, of course. However, they were apprehensive about falling into Xu Que’s traps should they agree to collaborate.

“Fellow cultivator, why don’t you talk more about how we’re going to collaborate!” Finally, someone bit the bullet and spoke. Everyone began to nod in agreement. Whether or not they formed a partnership would depend on Xu Que’s plan.

Xu Que put his hands behind his back and adopted a deep-thinking expression. “Let me ask you guys first. Do you want to earn a hefty sum of Good points?”

Everyone nodded, “Of course!”

Xu Que continued, “Do you want to leave your prison cells quickly?”

They nodded again, “Yeah!”

Xu Que asked, “Do you want to never step into this prison again?”

Everyone answered, “That’s right!”

Xu Que pressed on, “Do you think you’ll listen to me then?”

Everyone chorused, “Of course!”

“Very well!” Xu Que beamed. “Listen to me then and stop asking silly questions. Just follow me!”

“Okay...” Everyone agreed completely on the spur of the moment, but then they immediately halted.

Isn’t there something wrong?

F*ck, did he just lead them into answering what he wanted?

Isn’t this trick too deep?

Is this how he f*cking wants to collaborate?

What the heck, to hell with this collaboration! Listening to Xu Que was no different from walking toward their deaths.

No, no, they can’t risk it. They can’t fall into his trap.

Everyone took a step back after they realized what they had done. It was apparent that they wanted nothing to do with his plan.

“Eh? Why are your expressions like this? Are you guys going back on your word? Is there no one interested in this partnership?” Xu Que pretended to be confused, and, at the same time, picked up the black rod and nestled it on his shoulder blade. His threat could not be more obvious. Anyone who chickened out would be the next to be knocked out! Everyone’s expression becomes tight. Don’t you already know if we are interested in your plan or not?

“I’ll take part!” A voice suddenly rang from the crowd.

The powerhouses turned to the voice and were temporarily stunned. The voice belonged to the young cultivator who first fell into Xu Que’s trap.

“Fellow cultivator, I’ll take part!” repeated the young cultivator as he looked straight into Xu Que’s eyes. He had thought it through. He had stopped resisting and cleverly chose to stand with Xu Que. It’s not that he was out of his mind, but that he had no choice. Upon seeing what happened to those jailers, he was afraid that he was next in line to be knocked out.

“Eh? Great thinking, young lad. You have a bright future ahead!” Xu Que’s eyes lit up and smiled.

“You flatter me, fellow cultivator, you flatter me!” The young cultivator quickly bowed and returned the gesture, his tone and attitude humble.

“Come on over, stand behind me if you’re taking part! Don’t worry, we of the Exploding Heavens Faction always honor our promises. If I say that I won’t trick you, I will not deceive you.” Xu Que laughed heartily.

The young cultivator hesitated for a moment, but ultimately nodded and stood behind Xu Que.

Buttface immediately took out a pair of jeans that he had gotten on Earth and put them on. He opened the pocket and looked at the young cultivator with a side-eye, “Come, hold this, hold the inside of my pocket.”

“Huh?” The young cultivator was surprised.

Hold his overturned pocket? Why?

“F*ck, have you never seen Prison Break? I am Buttface, nickname T-BAG. How can I be the boss of the prison with no one holding the insides of my pocket? Hurry up, hold it!” Buttface ordered haughtily. This idiot had watched a lot of American dramas back on Earth and learned those scenes well.

“Okay, we have one onboard. Is there anyone else? If not, I’ll get going.” Xu Que carried the black rod on his shoulders and looked at everyone, seemingly smiling, yet not really with a good intent.

Everyone felt shivers running down their spines. This fellow was holding his black rod and speaking eerily. It was apparent that he was threatening them!

“Stop hesitating and follow me. I’m an experienced driver, and I know what I’m doing. My plan will succeed, I promise!” Xu Que began to try and convince them.

He had made so much effort and spent over tens of thousands of Acting Tough Points just to let them out. How could he let them off easily? How could he call himself the Act-Tough Saint if he could not double or triple the Acting Tough Points he could earn from them?

However, no matter how much he persuaded them, the powerhouses remained unmoved and did not want to follow. They still believed that Xu Que’s plan was a pirate boat that should not be boarded.

The smile on Xu Que’s face began to fade. His gaze became piercing and dangerous as he looked at the prisoners.

Were they not coming along?

It looked like desperate times called for drastic measures.

Swoosh!

Xu Que raised his black rod and prepared to knock them all out, taking them all with him. However, the sound of something breaking through the wind came from the end of the corridor.

Whiz! Whiz! Whiz!

Within moments, about a dozen silhouettes dashed toward them. In the blink of an eye, ten jailers or more appeared in front of them.

The atmosphere became very charged. The two sides stared at each other. The jailers were the first to react, and their expressions changed abruptly.

“Not good!”

“Quick, inform the Jail Warden, we have not one, but more than a dozen prisoners trying to break out of jail!”

“F*ck, how did they open the locks?”

“Just how powerful are they?”

“No, this can’t continue. It looks like the only place that could trap them would be Level 7 of the Buddha Prison!” The jailers started to exclaim loudly. They had initially received news of one prisoner trying to escape. However, the jailers they had sent over never returned, and so they had decided to take a look. However, what they saw gave them a sharp shock. There were tens of prisoners standing in the corridor, while the jailers lay unconscious on the ground.

They had never seen anything like that in Buddha Prison!

This is huge!

The situation became chaotic at once. The Jailers split into two groups. Most stayed behind to block the exit, while two quickly left to pass the message on.

On Xu Que’s side, the prisoners he had freed were all stunned.

Are they throwing them into Buddha Prison Level 7?

F*ck, there would be no hope for them if they were thrown in there!

The prisoners instantly yelled anxiously, “Jailers, please don’t misunderstand. We are not breaking out!”

“That’s right! We’re not breaking out! It’s this fellow. He let us out!”

“That’s right, that’s right. We have no intention to break out of jail!”

Everyone fought to explain the situation and even pointed fingers at Xu Que.

Xu Que immediately put his hands together and gestured sincerely, “Seniors, rest assured. Your junior here will shoulder this alone!”

As he said that, he turned to the jailers with an expression saying that he was ready to die, “I am the only one who did this. Although I am but a Form Synthesis Stage cultivator, you must believe that I alone let them all out! Don’t blame the others. Take it all out on me!”

Tss!

The prisoners all inhaled sharply upon hearing Xu Que’s words. Their hearts and blood went cold instantly, as though someone had sung them a song of departure. Xu Que’s words had sealed their fate. Nobody would believe them anymore.

A young man at the Form Synthesis Stage could break open dozens of locks in the Buddha Prison. If they hadn’t seen it, who in their right mind would believe that that was possible?

The jailers in front of them were the best examples. They would never believe that Xu Que had released them. In fact, they disregarded Xu Que, a lowly Form Synthesis Stage cultivator, entirely. On the contrary, they were much more wary of the dozen Half-Celestials and Human Celestials. Both sides were almost equal in strength. In this case, the jailers did not want to face them head-on.

A jailer tried to put on his most patient expression and asked the prisoners, “People, you’d better not push your luck. This is the Buddha Prison, remember? You should be very clear about the consequences if you cause more trouble. Don’t you want to leave the prison?”

“We do!” Everyone shouted, almost weeping inside.

The jailer heaved a sigh of relief. He nodded, “Great. We could still talk this out then. Everyone calm down and tell us your conditions?”

Conditions?

What conditions could they possibly have? They just wished not to be accused!

Everyone opened their mouths and wanted to explain the situation.

However, before they could get a word out, Xu Que raised his hand suddenly and yelled, “We want freedom! Long live freedom!”
